  • Small Anglesey glamping site on the edge of Benllech
  • Beach 15 minutes' walk away; Beaumaris Castle 20 minutes' drive
  • Private hot tub, ensuite bathroom and kingsize bed for each dome
When you stay on the Isle of Anglesey you’re never all that far from the coast – but at Benllech Glamping you’ll be bedding down in a spot that’s particularly handy for both beach visits and useful village amenities. This small-scale glamping site is on the edge of the coastal village of Benllech, about 15 minutes’ walk from its lovely sandy beach and with several pubs, cafés and takeaways within a short walk too. From the village you can also pick up the Anglesey Coastal Path towards some of the north coast’s other beaches, such as Red Wharf Bay and Lligwy beach. In fact, nothing on the island is very far away – a 40-minute drive gets you to South Stack at one end of the island, or Newborough Forest on the other side. Everything on site has been set up to provide a peaceful and chilled-out place to stay for your island break. You’ll be staying in a spacious geodesic dome that’s been kitted out with a kingsize bed, an ensuite bathroom and basic kitchen facilities (including a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster). There’s plenty of space to relax inside, with comfortable seating, a woodburning stove to keep things cosy and a large window so you can soak up the surrounding views whatever the weather. Of course, the hope is that you’ll be able to spend some time outside – and with that in mind, each dome also has an outdoor space with a picnic table and firepit, plus what will be the highlight for many – a private hot tub where you can spend evenings gazing up at the stars overhead.

Geodesic dome (wood-burning stove)

Liked: Fantastic experience all around, from the unusual accommidation to the amazing set up. We had everything we needed and more to make our stay comfortable and fun! The owner was very welcoming so helpful, kind and caring. Couldn't do enough for us. Even had spare blankets hung up which was a great added touch! We would highly recommend this place if you are after a nice relaxing break with the quirkiness of the dome.

Disliked: We had no complaints.

Geodesic dome (wood-burning stove)

Liked: We arrived in a storm, well attended to by hosts who provided more than enough fire wood to keep us toasty. A thoughtful bottle of bubbles given to us to celebrate our anniversary. Well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean and plush towels provided. A quick 5 minute walk into town for food, lots of options to suit most people. Beautiful scenery & a welcome hot tub after a day of walking. Diolch yn fawr 😊

Disliked: Nothing
