Burdock camping pod
Liked good place
Disliked the cleaners were hostile average men/ blamed me saying "disappointed at me" for the "job they have" and complained to me "how messy other visitors dirtied the place" when I did clean the dishes and kept the area clean best I could, it wasn't as bad as they said it was
they were not professional

From the manager: We are not happy with this review. Haggia booked to stay with us via our booking system before her Pitch Up booking. She was given all the information but turned up without bedding and any cooking things and expected that these would be provided. She will not be coming to Bach Wen again and I would warn any other sites not to accept a booking from her.
This is the message that our host on site sent to me
"She arrived with no equipment so we supplied sleeping bag, blankets, pots and cutlery crockery ( I was happy to help)
She vacated the pod at 10am as I requested but literally just picked up her stuff and left, leaving dirty pans, wet pillows and rubbish, she boiled/burnt rice in the kettle so I have had to replaced that, dirty crockery left on the footpath back to the barn, the pod was the worst condition I’ve ever seen it left.
I wheel barrowed all the stuff back to the barn and she was still on site so I told her she needed to wash up/tidy up. She seemed bemused by this but washed up then left site to catch a bus."

Burdock camping pod
Liked Had a lovely couple of nights in Burdock pod. Friendly reception from Dave who showed us around the site. Very quiet and secluded. Loved the fire pit outside and the log burner inside meant the pod was toasty warm. Showers and toilet toilets were clean. Great access to the beach. One of the best things for us was that we didn’t have to keep our dogs on leads, the site was very quiet and well fenced from the adjoining fields, they are a bit older now and don’t wonder off. We definitely plan to visit again in either the pods or camping.

We will return, possibly as part of the pilgrimage.
Dandelion camping pod
Liked Location, overlooking the sea with direct access to a pebble beach. Hosts were extremely helpful, nothing to much trouble approach and talkative with very interesting backgrounds.

Liked Stayed at The Glade pitch with a tent — absolutely loved it! Beautiful peaceful spot, clean facilities, friendly atmosphere and great access to the beach. I had to leave a day early because of the weather, but I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Bach Wen for a relaxing getaway.

Dandelion camping pod
Liked Beautiful site....I stopped in Dandelion pod with my dog and it was well equipped with amazing views! Pod is located just a short walk from shower block and toilets but completely private. Lovely little pathway down to the beach. There was wood available for the stove and fire pit but I didnt need it as the pod was cosy enough. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. Overall its tranquil and peaceful!
