Little gem.
Burdock camping pod
Liked Lovely place to stay. Decent facilities. Was quiet. Stayed in ‘Burdoch’ glamping pod. Great sea views. 2 min walk to beach. Ideal for tent stays, campervans and there’s a few cottages. Beautiful part of North Wales with a 35-40 min drive to mountains of Eyri / Ogwen Valley. 10 min drive to Yr Eifl. Trefor nearby also lovely.
Disliked Spiders in showers. But they kept themselves to themselves.

Liked Absolutely gorgeous views, very quiet site, private beach access, shaded chill-out area by the barn (it was very hot for camping when we stayed!). A great place for exploring the peninsula and I hope we can come back again soon.
Disliked There were fridges and freezers available, but something was clearly wrong with them as they weren't cold enough and our food wasn't really safe for consumption. There was a lot of melted stuff in the freezer! Could have just been struggling with the hot weather, though.

Area for a tent is huge…

Liked Area for a tent is huge and there are only two tents spaces in the vast green area. No squeezing like other sites do. Barn with showers, toilets and FRIDGE as well as sofas and WiFi was 20 metres away. Beach was only 150m walk and, although it is not a great beach, it is access to the sea and my daughters enjoyed it. Views from the camp are spectacular. Playground with a slide and three swings for kids. The road to access is just for people in cottages, tents , etc. My daughters loved it so much they asked me to get back there. I have already booked a week in August. I loved it as well. We dragged a wooden table with bench outside the tent so we can enjoy cooking outside the tent. I have not even had to use my camping chairs. It was a great experience. Last night was a quite heavy storm and we did not get any sleep, but this couldn't ruin the overall experience. I will recommend the site to everyone. Snowdon is 25 minutes drive. Most of Snowdonia is accessible with a short drive with option of easy relaxed time at the camp if weather disappoint as it does often in Wales.
Disliked I have to be picky here to write anything. I never met any staff until last day so facilities availability was a guess. I have used fridge, table with bench, etc. But instructions were clear were is my spot and it is clearly indicated so I have no issues with that.

Liked Beautiful spot. Lots of places to visit a short drive away. Lovely views. Clean toilets and showers although a little small. Hot water and no extra charge for the showers.
Disliked Not as spacious or secluded a pitch as we imagined from the description. Large field but both sea view pitches squashed up together. Off lead dogs everywhere that came onto our pitch several times, and a couple of times charged at us barking from the toilet block. Our timid dog was quite scared by this unfortunately which is why we booked this particular site in the first place as we were looking for privacy for him. Nearby A-road was a bit noisy and the bar wasn’t open. Plus the washing up sinks had no plug and were quite worn. Beach access was private but there was a public footpath access close by so wasn’t really private.

Liked This place is a gem!
I had 2 nights with my dog in one of the pods and felt like I was glamping & wild camping at the same time. On a small cliff, on a beach with gorgeous sunsets is heaven!
My dog wasn't on lead at all (although he is well trained) the host was so nice about it and very relaxed, really nice to chat to him! Thank you David
We will be back with more of us 😊

Liked The pod we stayed in had such a simple aesthetic that felt so whimsical and romantic. It had everything you needed in it with a view that changed every time we looked out- everyone stunning!
The camp host was really lovely and showed us everything we needed to know.
The campsite was lovely and quiet with the beach right there.
It’s great that pets are allowed at the campsite, in the pods and off-lead on the private beach.
The showers were modern, hot and powerful- never something I could say about many other campsites.
Disliked We were probably furthest away from the toilets, so had to do some nature wees in the evenings/nights.
