A lovely campsite with great views and facilities, friendly owner.
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Nice clean campsite, flat pitches, a large shared shelter with kitchen facilities. The shelter was absolutely lovely especially as the weather was very gusty and rainy, provided a great shelter to cook and socialise! We had a lovely time here. The owner was really friendly and helpful and offered us walking paths. The central location was great for exploring the peninsula. Would definitely visit again.

A quiet and well maintained site, perfectly located and a lovely host.
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked The location was ideal for accessing lots of areas on the peninsula. Gorgeous views all around the pitches. The facilities were just what we needed. Travelling at the end of October means changeable weather! The sheltered communal area was well lit, had a large table and a sink with warm water. We were able to comfortably prepare our food and relax when it rained! We found the compost toilets to be clean and well maintained. Jamie, our host was helpful and friendly. He brought us a map to show us an interesting location within walking distance of the site too!

Liked The host was very friendly and welcoming, and there was plenty of space to pitch our tent without being close to each other. The facilities, including the toilet and shower, were very clean. Very hot water in the shower (almost too hot :) ) The wifi was great, even in our tent.

Liked So pleased to have come across this spot on campsite in such a quiet location with clear, open and great views over various hills and scenery.
One of these gem that you hope won't become spoiled by popularity in future.
Everything was thought of, from the showers to the very clean compost loos, communal and washing up area. The pitches are spacious so if you like your space and intimate campsites...
The WiFi works and the local area has so much to offer if you're into nature.
The campsite is peaceful.
I wish the young owners, Sylvie and Jamie, all the best. They are very helpful, bang on and I can't think of 1 thing negative to say.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Jamie and Sylvie are fantastic hosts. The campsite facilities are clean and welcoming. I was a little worried about the composting toilets, however they were cleaned and emptied twice daily, so no nasty smells.
The undercover communal area is fantastic, a great place to chat and catch up with other campers. Showers were lovely and hot too.
Pitches are spacious, we were able to choose out camping spot. Views from the campsite are terrific (mountain views).

A slice of paradise
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Jamie and Sylvie have created an absolutely wonderful campsite in the most stunningly beautiful of locations. It's their first season in operation and they've got everything right straight from the start!
The field sweeps gently (almost level) down from their lovely renovated farmhouse to give the most perfect view of the Yr Eifl mountains, which are just a couple of miles away and feel within touching distance.
There are no formally marked pitches, just acres of room for everyone to spread out and pick their view of choice, or cluster together in family/friends groups. Having stayed 9 nights I saw the site at both it's quietists (just me) and it's busiest ("full", I think) and it felt just as peaceful and relaxed either way.
The mature hedgerows around the site support loads of wildlife. I had a regular hedgehog visitor and birdlife was plentiful, including a large flock of goldfinches that were ever present in the adjoining field (lots of teasel in seed). The budliah meant lots of butterflies too.
The facilities are great, especially considering the off-grid nature. They are kept immaculately clean at all times and the composting toilets are emptied and cleaned several times daily. The showers are roomy and have a great agricultural feel to them, but then you are showering in barn! Hot water for pot washing is plenty.
To get to the point - GO THERE

Liked We loved our stay at Tyn on the Llyn. It’s a beautiful, peaceful site with amazing views.
Jamie and Sylvie are so welcoming and clearly take real pride and care in creating a great experience for their guests.
The facilities were spotless throughout our entire stay, showers were hot and we really appreciated there being plenty of hooks to hang clothes and towels on! There were fairy lights in the showers, always plenty of toilet roll, hand soap, shower gel and washing up liquid - lovely touches which made for a great experience.
We will definitely be back and are looking forward to seeing how the little trees are growing as the site matures!
