What customers say
This is a beautiful, peaceful campsite in a stunning remote location with sea views and easy access to coastal walks. Pitches are generally level and spacious. Facilities, including showers and toilets, are frequently described as clean and well-maintained. Staff are consistently praised for being friendly and helpful. The on-site cafe is popular, serving good food. Some visitors note a lack of phone signal and WiFi is payable. The cafe's evening opening hours could be extended.

Showers are Fab, 50p for 5 mins well worth it.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Spacious level pitches, very well looked after. Bar and cafe on site.
Toilet and shower very clean.
Even though you have to pay 50p for the shower, it was the best 50p I’ve spent! Hot and lasted around 5mins.
Disliked For the amount of people who are on site you only have 3 men’s and 3 women’s toilets and 2 showers. So to use the showers I had to queue.

Fantastic location, great level camping site.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Fabulous location, right at the end of the peninsula. Flat camping site, nicely spaced pitches. Toilets small but ok, only 2 showers but super hot and powerful. Has a cafe/bar with big decking area, but we never went so no idea about food or drinks. Staff very friendly. A very quiet setting with fantastic skies at night. Very reasonable cost. No idea if wifi any good, didn't use, but we all had issues with getting a phone signal so be warmed.
Disliked Toilets a bit small, only two showers, so expect to queue when busy season. Meant to be quiet after 11pm but there were some noisy groups and no one came to shush them.

Good walks from the site, facilities not great, views not as expected.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Location good but views limited.
Disliked Not a very pleasant welcome, compared to others we've had.
Why can't showeres be included in the price, we don't always have 50p on us and no open shops etc to get change, you can't even have a cold shower as the taps are locked off with the 50p meter. Would not stop again.

Would definitely stay here again!
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Pitches were great, a good distance from one to the next.
Really quiet, scenic location. Facilities were in immaculate condition, had everything you’d need.
50p showers were well worth it, stayed on long enough to wash long hair! Take to 50ps just incase😆
Disliked Phone signal was dependent on where you were on the campsite but isn’t something i’d say was a dislike!

A lovely site with all the amenities needed.
Electric grass pitch
Liked A lovely, clean campsite, clean toilet and shower block and plenty of washing up sinks too. A lovely café onsite which served the most delicious breakfast. Beautiful views during the day and very peaceful and wonderful, clear starry skies at night.

Excellent site
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Spacious pitches, very quiet despite having a lot of people staying there (and children) and incredible location with views.
Toilets and showers were spotless, hot water available and easy access to dispose of waste and refill water tank.
We went down the road for a beautiful walk and views of Bardseay island.
Staff was friendly, it was super super windy and allowed us to move to a more secure place.
Disliked We were staying on the far end of the pitches and toilets/facilities are a bit far. Nothing too serious but be aware if you are staying in a tent or don't have a toilet. Also, and obviously not their fault, no reception or very low at least so if you rely on maps make sure you download it first.
