What customers say
This is a quiet, basic campsite offering good value with clean facilities and pleasant views. Guests appreciated the friendly owner and the peaceful atmosphere. Showers are coin-operated and generally well-received, though some mentioned the lack of a washing-up area. The site is well-located for exploring the peninsula. Some reviews noted intermittent WiFi and an issue with dogs on-site, which the manager stated is being addressed.

Liked Lovely campsite and very spacious in a beautiful setting.
Shower and toilet facilities were very clean.
Disliked I couldnt seem to find anywhere to wash my dishes and also there was a £1 charge for the showers which wasnt ideal but the showers were warm and stayed on for a while.

Basic camp site.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked The shower, albeit cost a £1 was hot and lasted a fair while. There were three areas for pitches with the lower level being sheltered from the wind. It is a basic site and if all you want to do is sit out and chill then this is the site for you. It was hard to find and had to ring the owner to obtain precise location. It states WIFI but the signal was intermittent, basically not existant. Not much in the area either.

Loved loved loved!!
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Everything!! We arrived bank holiday Sunday and left today (Thursday) & everyone else left bank holiday Monday so we had the WHOLE site to ourselves.. Toilets/shower areas were always clean & stocked with toilet roll. We took 2 of our frenchies and they had the best time running through the grass! Listening to the cows mooing/birds tweeting whilst having perfect view of the sunset was the best!! Definitely would return!
Disliked We didnt take any activities, and as the weather was phenomenal, it was too hot to stay away from the site for too long with the dogs! Would recommend taking some form of activity/entertainment for evenings

Nothing…
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Nothing
Disliked Everything, seemingly someone’s back garden, paid up front with pitch up was quoted a 20meter x 20 meter pitch was given a pitch 8 meter wide max behind toilet/ shower block and around 8 dustbins with flies and wasps everywhere, water tap was behind a caravan about 15 meters away so hose wouldn’t reach.
So in a nut shell , steer well clear of this place go to a site in Aberdeen Morgan Mawr great site very clean with great views .
