  • Llyn Tegid 15 minutes’ drive; King Arthur’s Labyrinth 25 minutes
  • Dog-friendly riverside pitches; spotless facilities in a stone barn
Caravan and Motorhome Club member and looking for a small and peaceful site in Eryri (formerly Snowdonia) National Park? They’ve got you covered at Tŷ Cerrig Certificated Location, set on a third-generation family-run sheep farm five minutes’ drive from the tiny hamlet of Rhydymain, and they’ve thrown in spectacular views of forest and mountains for good measure too. You have a choice of neatly maintained riverside pitches, all of which have electric hook-ups, drinking water and wifi. A track leads to a smartly converted stone barn with pristine toilet and shower facilities. The site sits alongside the Afon (river) Tŷ Cerrig, and you can exercise your canine chums on numerous walks directly into the countryside. It’s easy to access thanks to its proximity to the A494, and is positioned between Bala and Dolgellau (both 15 minutes’ drive), historic market towns rich in charm and leisure opportunities as well as having a few shops, cafés, pubs and takeaways.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch (members only)

Liked We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and had such a lovely time. The site itself is really chilled and has a very welcoming atmosphere. It’s dog-friendly too, with some great walks nearby, which made it perfect for us.

The family who own the park were absolutely fantastic, so friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. You can really tell they care about their guests.

I did notice some reviews mentioning there being just one toilet and shower in the same block, but honestly, that wasn’t an issue for us and to be fair, some sites don’t offer any facilities at all!

Thanks again for such a great stay. We’d definitely recommend this site and would love to return! - Jason, Nathan, Joey & the two dogs! - VW Campervan

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch (members only)

Liked Beautiful place. Remote from everything but on a working farm yet peaceful and quiet. Electric and water hook up very useful. Water pressure is very good! Better than my own house. One shower and toilet facility that the owner does her up most best to keep clean and tidy. Good WiFi signal but we didn't realise we had to connect our TV to get any signal however to be honest we didn't miss it at all. Kids were entertained with the owners children as well as the farm animals. Fruit trees that you could help yourself from. Stunning views. We had some of the best sleep ever! I can keep going 🙂.
