What customers say
This is a well-maintained, spacious campsite with friendly and helpful owners, offering great views and a peaceful atmosphere. Guests appreciated the clean facilities, including toilets, showers, and a dog exercise field. The location is considered good, with a walk to Criccieth town, although some noted a busy road section on the route. WiFi can be intermittent, and a few guests mentioned a lack of shower availability during busy periods. Overall, visitors highly recommend the site and express a desire to return.

Electric grass tent pitch (six person)
Liked Very welcoming and friendly host who seems like a genuinely nice person and took the time to interact with our children, the site has very clean toilets/shower facilities and also a nice clean inside area for washing the pots (which also has a washing machine and dryer) we found the site to be a good location for a lot of landmarks we wanted to visit with most being within 30-40 minute drive away (snowdon, castles & waterfalls) the site itself is very well looked after and maintained with a great scenic view, there is plenty of space for the kids to play and has a small playground also, we will definitely be back

Liked Dog walking field (I guess it was the dog field anyway)
Disliked Had confirmation of booking and that was it! Turned up on site, no steward only a number to call in the window of an old caravan, tried this number and left a message but had no reply. Took a guess to which pitch. 2 mile treck to get into Criceth down a hill so it would have been uphill all the way back, very open site which doesn’t really looked cared for. Needed to use laundry which needed tokens, again needed to ring steward to get tokens! Left after 1 night

From the manager: Paul was sent a pre arrival txt like all our guests. On further investigation after receipt of this review it seems we had a missed call from his number way before check -in so our staff would not have been available for some of the time between check out and check in. However, we take full responsibility for this lapse in communication in having missed his one call, and apologise for this. It is not a true reflection of how we run the business and treat our guests. As the guest was not at the site the following morning as expected, we were not given the opportunity to apologise or rectify any issued. To judge the site so harshly based on the walk in to town which he apparently did not take, is in our opinion very unfair. Whilst Paul is entitled to share his views on hills, this alone does not quantify his one star rating. We take daily measures to look after the site as our other guests have commented - rPaul does not provide details as to why he came to this conclusion. Had Paul contacted us in regards to the washing machine, we would have been happy to provide tokens. Paul has not provided rating for all of the categories. We request that this review is not to be published.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked The site is situated in such a quiet and scenic part of Criccieth. We have a touring caravan and booked to stay on the electric grass pitch, which given the warmer weather, we had no problems getting on and off. We preferred this pitch style with having dogs so it provided somewhere comfier to lie and the grass pitches have the benefit to being 'unlimited' in size.
The amenities on site were clean and tidy and provided everything you need for comfortable stay.
For us, the added benefit of a dog walking field provides a great spot to take your dogs to in a morning and evening away from the site itself.
Disliked Not enough showers for the amount of pitches available at the site. There is one shower per ladies and gents and they four additional. We were at the site at a busier time so at times there could be quite a queue for wanting a shower!
