This well-maintained, clean campsite offers spacious, flat pitches and beautiful views. Guests consistently praise the friendly, welcoming owners and the convenient location, with Criccieth town centre and amenities typically a 15-20 minute walk away. Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Assigned pitch beforehand which fortunately was a good one.

Communication was good throughout booking and arrival.

Disliked Showers were poor. Low water pressure, they dribble and need the button pressing every 20 seconds which is irritating.

Nowhere to empty grey waste.

No staff / reception / shop on site.

Bell tent

Liked Very clean, great location just a few minutes drive from Criccieth several walking routes into the town - lots of water points dotted across the site - several hot showers and toilets so never struggled to get a shower - lovely views - Dog field on site.

Disliked Low water pressure in showers - tumble dryer was broken ( which in the in-climate weather was a frustration as would have been really useful ) Dog field needs work fine for my dogs who are not escape artists but perhaps not for smaller dogs with a keen sense of escapism ! WiFi on our pitch was almost unusable ( was great if you were near the toilet block )

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked We stayed for one night at this site. Its a lovely clean, level site. Very friendly hosts. But what was best for us was the wonderful dog exercise field, which is completely secure as our dog needs a good run around. Would definitely recommend this site.

Disliked Nothing.

Local attractions

Start your Welsh wanderings in Criccieth – there are often family-friendly events at the 15th-century castle, and there’s a small stretch of beach for paddling. A few minutes out of town, the Lloyd George Museum and Dwyfor Ranch Rabbit Farm and Animal Park are worth a trip. For more beaches, continue west to the Llyn Peninsula; Porthdinllaen, Abersoch and Pwllheli all have excellent sandy stretches, and there are heaps of coastal activities to get stuck into at activity centres over there. If you like a hike, you can reach the Wales Coast Path with a stroll of 20 minutes or so, or head to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park for mountain scrambles or gentler rambles around the lakes and waterfalls. And if that’s all a bit much, there are scenic train rides to be had on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway. For a spot of history and culture, half an hour’s drive will take you to pretty Portmeirion, Caernarfon Castle, Harlech Castle or Porthmadog’s Maritime Museum.
