  • Spacious site a short drive from Eryri/Snowdonia National Park
  • Within easy reach of beaches, watersports and a mountain railway
  • Barbecues welcome and several supermarkets within easy reach
Seeking a sojourn within easy reach of the smashingly spectacular Eryri/Snowdonia National Park? Close to several splendid beaches and within easy reach by car or bike from several towns for foodie spots and cosy pubs? Treborth Hall Farm Caravan Site should, then, tick off a fair few of your Welsh holiday boxes. This peaceful walled park is a 20-minute walk from the Anglesey Isle town of Menai Bridge, home to several traditional pubs and other eateries for off-site sips and scoffs. You can be in Bangor on your bike in 15 minutes too, or hop in the car and be there in less than 10; highly beau Beaumaris is bikeable too – reach it in a little over half an hour on two wheels, or be there in half the time on four. When it comes to stuff for kids to do, they’ve got reams of room to roam freely around, plus a play area too should they require fun structures to clamber on; for a spot of gentle grownup activity, there's a public footpath just outside that forms a loop connecting to the Wales Coast Path, which in turn provides access to Treborth Botanic Garden. For food on site you’re more than welcome to get a barbecue going – several supermarkets are within easy reach around the nearby towns for all your sizzling supplies, and there are also lots of pubs, restaurants and takeaways too. Among the on-site amenities are toilets and two shower blocks with coin-operated showers with plenty of piping-hot water.

What customers say

This is a well-maintained, friendly campsite with a great location for exploring North Wales and Anglesey. Visitors praise the spacious pitches, clean facilities, and helpful staff. While most experiences are positive, some mention dated shower facilities and occasional issues with water temperature or pressure. A few guests noted noise from nearby roads or other campers, and some found the site busy during peak times. The presence of alpacas is a unique highlight for many.

From the manager: Thank you for your review.

We’re pleased you enjoyed the location, ease of access and overall site, and that you would recommend us to others and stay with us again.

Regarding the shower floors, your stay coincided with a period of exceptionally heavy rainfall. Unfortunately, when guests are constantly entering and leaving tiled shower facilities during wet weather, the floors can become wet. Our shower and toilet facilities are cleaned three times a day, but sadly even we haven’t yet found a way to control the Welsh weather.

As for the bins, we have two designated recycling areas on site. If one bin happened to be full during your stay, additional waste and recycling facilities were available elsewhere on the park.

It’s also worth noting that our Pitchup listing contains numerous photographs of the pitch areas, facilities and overall layout of the park. We would always encourage guests to review these before booking, as they provide a very good indication of exactly what to expect on arrival.

We are pleased that many guests before and after your stay have rated us 9/10 and 10/10, which reflects the experience enjoyed by the vast majority of our visitors.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.

Liked Good location

Disliked Couldn't get through the gate when turned up at the site so had to walk to the entrance to get the phone number for the code.
The showers were very confusing to use had to press a button outside which I didn't realise until already in the shower cubicle.
The shower pressure was pretty much non existent, the hand dryer wasn't working when we turned up a paper role had been provided but this wasn't replenished. The showers leaked so the floor was wet and in the time we were there the toilet block wasn't cleaned.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback.

We are pleased that you enjoyed the location.

Regarding the gate access, all guests receive arrival information before their stay advising them to contact the park for the current gate code, as it is changed regularly for security reasons. The park telephone number is also clearly displayed on the entrance gate, so we are a little confused as to why a walk to the office was necessary to obtain the same number.

Regarding the shower controls, clear and visible instructions are displayed within the shower block explaining exactly how the system operates. Unfortunately, we cannot do much more than provide clear signage for guests to follow.

As for the hand dryer, unfortunately it developed a fault during your stay. Rather than leaving guests with no means of drying their hands, blue paper towels were provided as a temporary solution until repairs could be carried out. We would have thought having an alternative available was preferable to having nothing at all.

We received no reports of low water pressure during the period of your stay, and all facilities were operating normally. Your visit did coincide with a week of exceptionally heavy rainfall and strong winds. Whilst we clean the facilities regularly, if guests leave doors open during wet weather, rainwater can be blown into the building and onto the floors, which is unfortunately outside of our control.

As for the comment regarding cleanliness, our facilities are cleaned regularly throughout the day. However, during busy periods and poor weather conditions, facilities can quickly become untidy again after cleaning has taken place.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We appreciate all feedback, although we feel some of the points raised may not accurately reflect the overall experience enjoyed by the vast majority of our guests, many of whom continue to rate our park highly and return year after year.
