  • Spacious site a short drive from Eryri/Snowdonia National Park
  • Within easy reach of beaches, watersports and a mountain railway
  • Barbecues welcome and several supermarkets within easy reach
Seeking a sojourn within easy reach of the smashingly spectacular Eryri/Snowdonia National Park? Close to several splendid beaches and within easy reach by car or bike from several towns for foodie spots and cosy pubs? Treborth Hall Farm Caravan Site should, then, tick off a fair few of your Welsh holiday boxes. This peaceful walled park is a 20-minute walk from the Anglesey Isle town of Menai Bridge, home to several traditional pubs and other eateries for off-site sips and scoffs. You can be in Bangor on your bike in 15 minutes too, or hop in the car and be there in less than 10; highly beau Beaumaris is bikeable too – reach it in a little over half an hour on two wheels, or be there in half the time on four. When it comes to stuff for kids to do, they’ve got reams of room to roam freely around, plus a play area too should they require fun structures to clamber on; for a spot of gentle grownup activity, there's a public footpath just outside that forms a loop connecting to the Wales Coast Path, which in turn provides access to Treborth Botanic Garden. For food on site you’re more than welcome to get a barbecue going – several supermarkets are within easy reach around the nearby towns for all your sizzling supplies, and there are also lots of pubs, restaurants and takeaways too. Among the on-site amenities are toilets and two shower blocks with coin-operated showers with plenty of piping-hot water.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (solo)

Liked Price - it was cheap

Disliked Unfortunately the facilities (toilets & showers) were not sufficient for the number of pitches and were not clean or well kept.
The site is very close to a main road so noise is an issue.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (solo)

Liked The location. Easy access to sea fishing marks across Anglesey.

Disliked I have been camping at Treborth for 15 years. I pitched up a one man tent with my car parked at side went out for half day came back and the place had turned into a giant car park and I couldn't park my car because someone had stolen half my pitch. The campsite was noisy with music blaring out until half 2 in the morning and was massively overcrowded. I will not be camping here again ever. I also found the guy that owns or runs the place to be sarcastic and obnoxious. Terrible experience, not relaxing and a genuine health and safety risk of a car hitting your tent due to the overcrowding.

Non-electric grass touring pitch

Liked The chemical disposal facility.

Disliked Very disappointing experience, largely due to the owner’s attitude. Hospitality and basic customer service seem to be unfamiliar concepts here. I would strongly advise that the owner take a customer service course before welcoming any more guests. Unsurprisingly, the hygiene standards are no more impressive than the hospitality.

From the manager: Thank you for your review.

After checking your booking, we can confirm that you had booked a non-electric grass pitch, despite telling a member of our team on arrival that you had booked an electric grass pitch. As a result, you were initially shown to an electric pitch in good faith.

When we later checked your booking and realised the mistake, we politely explained that you had booked a non-electric pitch and asked you to move to the correct pitch. You then said that you could not understand what we were saying. While we appreciate that language barriers can sometimes arise, this is unfortunately beyond our control, and we remained polite and professional throughout.

Your comments about my customer service are completely at odds with the feedback we receive from hundreds of other guests. We are proud to have some of the highest ratings in the area, and our reviews consistently reflect the friendly and helpful service we provide.

We believe your review is an unfair reflection of what actually happened. We simply asked you to move onto the pitch that had been booked and paid for.

Based on your review and the experience during your stay, we do not feel our park is the right fit for your expectations, and we would respectfully decline any future booking from you.

We wish you all the best in finding a site more suited to your needs.
