What customers say
This is a highly-regarded campsite on the banks of Bala Lake, praised for its beautiful location, friendly staff, and spotlessly clean facilities including showers and toilets. Pitches are spacious and well-maintained, with many offering direct lake access, ideal for water sports. A small on-site shop provides essentials. While generally peaceful, some guests noted occasional noise and a lack of nearby off-lead dog walking areas. Some minor points included WiFi costs and occasional issues with toilet roll holders.

Electric grass campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked This site offered great views across the lake and the hills beyond, the site was very clean and staff were out litter picking nearly everyday. The site was well maintained with plenty of room between pitches and the toilets and showers were clean and readily available to use. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the on-site shop offered ample amenities if required. I would definitely recommend this site to family and friends and would return myself.
Disliked Only dislike ( this might just be my personal preference) is that the pitches aren’t specifically allocated to you so unless you leave items behind or ask for a reservation flag from reception, you run the risk of losing your pitch and having to find another if you leave for the day. Not a massive problem but could be an issue if the site is busy. I feel that if the pitch was allocated to me and reserved throughout my stay then I would have felt slightly more comfortable. Overall though a very minor dislike on this amazing site.

Clean facilities, level and large pitches and lovely area.
Electric grass tent pitch
Liked Beautiful campsite, staff were very helpful. Loved that they have their own ‘bay’ which you can drive on to if needed for water sports or a day at Bala lake. All amenities near by and close to town of Bala for any essentials. Site has its own small shop too which was handy. Lovely atmosphere oj site and pitches were large meaning you weren’t all jammed in. Overall lovely stay and would definitely stay again.

Electric grass touring caravan pitch
Liked Loved this campsite from the staff, cleanliness of the campsite and facilities was spot on.
Yes we had perfect weather but the site felt safe not over crowded and we felt important, when day trippers weren’t allowed on site something which could be a big earner for them, but no the most important people where us the campers we had the luxury of the private access to the lake and it felt special. Thanks so much for a perfect weekend in a beautiful setting.
Disliked The toilet roll holder behind the toilet! As silly as it sounds it was annoying when you have short arms.
