This is a highly recommended, well-maintained campsite with stunning views and spacious pitches. Visitors consistently praise the clean, modern, and well-equipped toilet and shower facilities. The site is described as peaceful, family-friendly, and conveniently located for nearby beaches. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few mention that the site can be pricey and occasionally experiences issues with noise or a lack of staff presence during busy periods.

We had a great stay at Ynyshir Farm Campsite! The location is perfect for walkers and cyclists – just a lovely walk to Talacre Beach and plenty of fantastic coastal cycle routes leading to Ffrith Beach, Prestatyn, Rhyl, and beyond.
The facilities were excellent, with toilets kept very clean throughout our stay. Communication with the owners was easy and straightforward, and the campsite itself is great value for money.
A couple of tips for future visitors: there are pubs nearby, but many didn’t serve food, and we found places around Talacre Beach closed by 8pm, so it’s best to bring your own supplies as we didn’t see shops nearby. That said, catching the sunset on the beach made up for it – absolutely stunning!
We stayed over the August Bank Holiday weekend and had a sea-view pitch, we’ll definitely be back. A really enjoyable stay in a lovely site that allows fire pits.

Non-electric grass campervan, trailer tent or tent pitch
Liked Great views, well maintained site, clean facilities with well lit paths
Disliked Noise levels were quite high as there did seem to be a few parties that went on until late and it seemed that there was no staff on site

Beautiful site but not enough facilities for busy holiday perids
Non-electric grass campervan, trailer tent or tent pitch
Liked 1. Views over looking the sea are beautiful.
2. All facilities are located within a Modern shower/ toilet block.
3. Quick check in, via a simple phone call upon arrival.
4. Location close to beautiful beach and big town for shops only 10 mins drive away.
5. Well lit walkway to the toilet block for nighttime.
Disliked 1. In our opinion there is Insufficient number of toilets resulting ques throughout the day. 3 of the 5 toilets are within shower rooms which therefore can't be used when showers are in use. These are the only toilets for the three field campsite.
2. Replenishment of toilet paper was insufficient at times resulting in no toilet paper in any of the toilets.
3. No permanent staff on site therefore it can take some time to respond to issues. Also we found texts regarding issues went unanswered (although issues where resolved, would of appreciated a response, however understand may not be able to reply to all)
4. Signage could be improved. When you first approach site, If coming from Liverpool way the site sign is only visible when you are almost passed the entrance. Could do with one on the other side for visibility. Also no sign for where the washing up facilities are so need to explore to find them as they are tucked away at the back of the toilet and shower rooms.
5. No bins in toilets therefore toilet roll tubes and rubbish are left on the floor untill next clean.
6. No Sinks outside of the toilets. If wanting to brush teeth only you have either take up one of the toilets or use the washing up sinks. which lead to further ques.
7. Noise curfew advertised as 9.30, but not inforced due to no staff presents. One permanent caravan was playing karaoke load untill passed 10.30 and we had to take it upon ourselves to ask them to turn it down as could be heard in the far field.

Liked The view was very good and the place was quite.
Disliked This is the 3rd time I had been to this site. However, I was very disappointed about the toilet cleanliness this time. All the toilets were awful and disgusting. People seems like uneducated that they did not flush the toilet after using it. I only saw once the staff trying to mopping up the toilet floor, but none of the staff clean the bathroom and toilets at all. They all stains! Sorry, I don't think I would come here again

From the manager: Firstly, may I suggest that you ask someone with an understanding of the English Language to write your reviews in future.
The shower facilities are cleaned 6 times a day. I know this as I am the one doing it. Unfortunately, I can't be held responsible for campers lack of respect for both the facilities and fellow campers.
Thank you for an amazing weekend.

Non-electric grass campervan, trailer tent or tent pitch
Liked We don’t camp much and used this site to see if it was something we would do more of and what a site to start. Perfect views enough space to spread out without feeling to close to others. Peaceful, clean. Kitchen area to clean dishes. Clean showers. Just relaxed environment. Hope to be back sooner rather than later. Thank you.

Facilities block was clean throughout our stay
Disliked Unfortunately our 1st camping experience with our two boys was ruined by another camping party.
We arrived at 1pm and set up our tent before visiting the local area. When setting our tent up we made sure to stay a suitable distance from other campers as there was plenty of space on the camping fields.
Unfortunately a fellow set of campers didn't give us the same courtesy when they arrived while we were out. We returned to see a tent right next ours to extent that our guidropes were crossed, their tent was also blocking entry into our tent on one side ( luckily we still have a door on the opposite side).
While using the facilities we were pleased to notice rule board which stated the site operated a quiet site policy after 9:30pm Unfortunately the camping party situated right next to us didn't abide by these rules and stayed sat outside drinking and chatting and laughing until 2:50am. They made no effort to be quiet at any point despite the site rules or even just out of respect having pitched themselves right next to a family with children. I get that everyone will come camping to have a different experience however out of respect for fellow campers if I planned to be up drinking till 3am I would position myself away from others - and there was plenty of space for them to do this.
I have given a low scoring review as I feel the owners of site have allowed this to happen. We did not see anyone from site ownership/wardens during our stay (check in is done over the phone, no information regarding rules etc is given at this point) so I don't understand the point of having rules if they are not going to be enforced. Given the price of the site at the higher end of the scale as well I would of maybe expected abit more thought going into campers experiences ie, maybe a simple leaflet explaining site etiquette and rules given to each camping party. A small step that could improve the experience and make sure people are aware of the rules.
We have also taken some learning from this experience and in future would look for sites that only cater to families.

From the manager: As a grown man , I feel embarrassed that a family man like yourself, although complimentary about the site and facilities, blames me for your neighbours volume.
You have no comprehension how difficult it is to maintain the site, ensure shower rooms are immaculate and rubbish collected. Your score of 3 negates what we try and provide at Ynyshir.
I hope you're not so judgemental of your kids as they mature as you have been of my business.
Look forward to not seeing you or people similar to you ever.
