Unbeatable hospitality.
Non-electric grass campervan or trailer tent pitch (no pets)
Liked The best site we have stayed at, and by a considerable margin. There really is nothing to fault. The easy check in, the flat pitch, the bar, the perfectly clean toilets, the large warm showers, the proximity to Llangollen, and above all...the owners. Lee and Michaela clearly love what they do, and are doing what they love. We will certainly be back next time we

Non-electric grass tent pitch (no pets)
Liked Large pitches, lovely quiet site, very friendly and helpful owners.
We’ve been here a few times now and the free ranging chickens are what brings us back every time.
We went in a heatwave and the cold beer at the pub was a necessity because the tent was absolutely stifling lol

Non-electric grass tent pitch (no pets)
Liked Really great site. No complaints what so ever. Very friendly owners who couldn’t be more accommodating. Pitches separated by long grass/wild flowers which is different to most sites we’ve stayed at and is a nice touch. Onsite bar is great and really good value for money. Freshly laid eggs by the onsite chickens were delicious. Lovely trip out to Carrog, 10 minute drive away which was recommended by the owners, to a river where you can swim, fish, paddle board or just sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery, with a pub with walking distance. Each morning Lee (owner) invited the kids to feed the chickens and pigs and collect freshly laid eggs if available, at no charge, my 8 year old boy loved it. Please ignore any bad reviews, from our experience they are totally unjustified. We will definitely book again.

A must-visit campsite for families
Non-electric grass tent pitch (no pets)
Liked Second time we've been and will return again. Just an all-round great spot when you have 2 young kids. The roaming chickens, feeding the pigs, letting the kids wander all within sight, lots of other children to play with, the Saturday campfire and schmores put on by the owners, good distance from both Bala and Llangollen for days out, plus the shed-bar the owners have on site will serve the best priced pint around! Good toilet and shower facilities. The views of the surrounding hills are stunning as well.
Disliked Nothing!
