What customers say
This is a well-maintained and clean site with spacious, level pitches, praised for its excellent facilities, including warm showers. Its location is ideal for walking into Llangollen via footpaths or the canal. Guests also enjoyed the fresh milk vending machine. While most visitors had a positive experience, a few noted occasional road noise and some wished for more dishwashing facilities or on-site entertainment for children.

All-weather fully-serviced gravel pitch (premium)
Liked Site was clean along with toilet block.
Friendly visitors and locals.
Amazing views and close to local town
Disliked Site warden, the man requires people skills and should learn how to treat everyone equally.
We were first told to turn our phone down and stop talking at 10pm, phone was on low and could hardly be heard outside of the tent. The wedding party they had in next field didn't matter though loud music until 11pm.
Was told to put dogs on lead, dogs only stepped outside tent for a drink they were on leads rest of time. Site stated had dog field, this wasn't true there was a small patch of grass behind shower block.
I got told not to park my car on grass, wardens had visitors staying with them in a self built camper which was parked on the grass and other pitches had cars on grass. Very selective with the rules.
Toilet block closed from 11.15am till 12.30 and no toilet provided to use in this time, not good for someone with health issues, there should be at least access the the disabled toilet during this time.
We arrived Friday and went home Monday we could see wardens opening gates for everyone who left and seeing them off, but not for us. Very rude

All-weather fully-serviced gravel pitch (premium)
Liked This is a lovely, picturesque site. The pitches are spacious and well maintained. The toilets & shower block are very clean and heated. Lovely walks accessible directly from site, it took us about 20/25mins to walk into Llangollen. There is also a bus stop directly outside the site.
Disliked Not a dislike but something to note is that the site is next to quite a busy road but it does quieten down at night.
