What customers say
This peaceful, well-maintained site offers spacious pitches, clean facilities, and friendly, helpful hosts. Guests praise the rural location, stunning views, and excellent amenities, including fire pits. While most visitors had no complaints, a few noted issues with toilet cleanliness at peak times and some found the firewood expensive. The site is highly recommended for its tranquil atmosphere and proximity to local attractions.

We’ll be back!!! - great spot, well located and lovely owners!
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Facilities, toilets, showers, wood box which wasn’t just logs, but big logs, smaller logs, kindling, tinder/fire lighters and even marshmallow sticks!!!
Great location, clean and a real sun trap!
Shops around corner and fridge/freezer access! Even if some piker did whizz one of our large ice packs! :(
Lots of sheep’s and cows! - outside the camp but farm noises add to experience!
Definitely be back ASAP!!!
Disliked Nothing! - be nice if there was a lake, stream or pool through or by.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked First time solo camping (although not new to camping) and I couldn’t have picked a better site. Everything about this site was just brilliant for my needs and the owner was super friendly and helpful. Amenities were clean and accessible, there was opportunity to purchase a crate of fire wood/logs for the campfire which is all ready and set up on your pitch if you should require that. I brought along my trusted four legged friend too who along with me enjoyed the fields and surrounding hills and walks which are fabulous for exploring! I have already re booked a stay and no doubt will return again and again. The beach is also super close but better to drive there, only 5-10 minutes away. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to others!!
