Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: Good position and well laid out pitches. Very clean pitches and spacious. Good communication. Friendly. Great bins and washing up facility but it’s up steps. Lovely site for caravans on lead up to clubhouse very pretty. Takeaways deliver. Funny seeing sheep wondering around and just about had a little view. Sheltered from the wind. Great top up electricity, No wastage.

Disliked: Showers need some upgrading. Sensors for shower not to our liking as can come on when dressing. NO SEAT OR SHELF FOR BELONGINGS. Boiling water which you can’t adjust. Taps are too forceful for the sink sizes. Can get a little wet. Wood-lice everywhere, steps to toilet block are slippery and uneven.

Disliked: Flooded toilets, everything was wet, not cleaned. Couldn’t use the toilets as swimming in water. Road noise from the road.

Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: The location was great for exploring north wales. We had a nice pitch and the view of the sea and mountain was lovely. It was nice to have a bar to go to in the evening, with a lovely terrace with sea views.

Disliked: We were only given 1 fob to get into the toilets/shower block we found it strange that it had a fob in the first place, no other campsite that we stayed at has this, also it was annoying only having 1 for a family. We paid a lot for the pitch only to be told we have to pay extra for electricity. The toilets/shower block were very old and dirty, only cleaned once a day, they smelt and toilet paper was all over floor, what I thought was strange is the toilets next to the bar are cleaned every hour? They had entertainment in the bar area, but we were told it was for the owners only. It really felt like we were second class to the owners.

Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: Beautiful setting, fabulous staff nothing was too much trouble. Great Adventure playground on site. Perfect for visiting attractions in the area.

Disliked: Only criticism is the toilet/showers and waste disposal areas. All really need bringing up to-date. Can smell foul waste in shower area the children refused to use them so Ended up using caravan shower and toilet. Not adequate for the size of the site. Wouldn’t put us off we will be back !
