What customers say

This working farm campsite offers a fantastic location with easy access to Llandudno and Rhos on Sea via public transport. Visitors frequently praise the friendly and helpful staff, spacious pitches, and peaceful atmosphere. While facilities are described as basic and some dated, they are generally reported as clean and functional. Animal sightings are a highlight. Some guests noted that the site can be very busy, particularly during peak times, and occasional issues with noise or muddy conditions were mentioned.

Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Location , lovely animals on the farm , Ten min walk from the queens head pub wirh fabulous food . Toilet block ok

Disliked Showers were old school wirh the button you have to hold to keep the water running ,, tricky when washing hair , but hot water so that was amazing in October ,, could of done with being near the toilet block instead of through the farm yard

Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Site well laid out

Disliked Sadly although we filtered the site via pitch up to one that allowed firepits on arrival afterpaying the balance we were given a yellow set of campsite rules which stated in capital strictly no fires! After complaining through pitch up the cammpsite claims it does allow fires just not in times of hot weather. This was an October stay. We stayed for 10 minutes then moved on. Should not state things that are not true

Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Location is good

Disliked Were to start
1. Greeting was not good gave pitch number and told us we're shower block was but nothing else staff really were not interested. No information regarding Eleanor point, grey waste and water points given.

2.Position of shower block across farm yard

3. Untidy there was rubbish all over the place a bbq had been dumped and left looked like it had been there awhile wheelie bins with no lids on there were deckchairs and tables and other rubbish left by the bins.

4. Dogs left roaming around site and dog poo everywhere I think these may have been farmers dog and yes it's a working farm but question if this is safe

5. Electric pay a you go doesn't show how much balance left so you have no idea how much you have left

6. Toilet block dark uninviting needs updating.

7. Cost per stay considering facilities too high. Wifi included but that's all in 21st century.

Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch

Liked We like staying here as it's handy for Llandudno and the buses run regularly from the road next to the campsite.
Showers are great.
Beautiful views.
Spacious pitches and flat.
Easy access into the campsite.
Plenty of walks nearby.
Free WiFi.

Disliked Paying for the electric meter is a bit fiddly at first but a pound on the meter seems to go a long way.

Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Great pitch and easy to set up. The location was pefect for bus travel and we had a lot of fun going on walks etc. Llandudno was great for food etc. Plenty of hot water.

Disliked The stay was greatly let down my outdated facilities. Several toilet doors did not lock and my o
Partner got locked in and was quite distressed. One shower unit had to have the button held in to work.

The showers being unisex were a little scary and i needed to stay with my partner the second day. Would not want teenage children to be left alone etc.

Maybe convert one or two toilet cubicles to showers?

Local attractions

Llandudno (10 minutes’ drive) is a cracking spot for a good wander, with shops, a pier, a promenade and a beach. You may spot a few goats wandering around the edge of town; they’ll have lost their way from Great Orme (20 minutes) just past Llandudno. The green limestone slopes of the Great Orme are not just for the goats, of course, with a tramway and a cable car providing access to the fab views from the 209-metre slope, a café or a playground. Back in Llandudno, get picked up by one of the open-top buses which run in summer from Llandudno Pier. They head over to stunning Conwy (10 minutes’ drive), past the spectacular 13th-century Conwy Castle, cobbled streets, bakeries and the cobbled streets typical of such a traditional Welsh port town.
