  • Luxuey and peaceful bell tent glamping near Betws-y-Coed
  • Packed breakfast hamper in arrival
  • Towels, dressing gowns, hairdryers and straighteners all available

Some serious luxury goes on for guests at Llwyn Onn near Betws-y-Coed in Conwy: if you want glamping with tiptop facilities and heaps of thoughtful little touches, among spectacular Welsh scenery in a secluded setting, and with all manner of active options within easy reach, you'll likely want to book a stay here forthwith.

Llwyn Onn is a peaceful site near the hikes of the Berwyn mountain range, in a popular walking area about 20 minutes from Betws-y-Coed and with views of the Snowdonia mountain range on clear days. It has bell tents set in four distinct large areas of soft grass separated by hedges and trees surrounded by dry stone walls to protect from wind, all with parking close by.

Each bell tent is five metres in diameter and is fully furnished including a double bed with bedding, plenty of rugs, cushions and blankets, lighting, a double plug outlet and a woodburning stove (a basket of logs is provided free; additional matches, firelighters and kindling are available to buy at reception).

And more serious luxury: you'll receive a breakfast hamper on arrival with all you'll need for morning meals during your stay – and if you need eggs, you can collect them fresh and warm every evening from the hen house.

The swish site amenities include a newly refurbished male and female shower block with flushing toilets, hot showers and wash hand basins, and – yet more luxury – towels, dressing gowns, hairdryers and straighteners all provided.

Guests also have use of the kitchen area with hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, coffee machine, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and utensils, along with a dining and sitting area with big woodburning stove.

And finally… if you're glamping at Llwyn Onn for a special occasion, the friendly owners can arrange flowers, chocolates, balloons or other bits and pieces for when you arrive: just let them know using the 'special requests' feature when you book.

Lovely site with clean facilities, 16/08/2017

Had a fantastic experience glamping in one of the beautiful bell tents. Tracy and Wayne had thought of absolutely everything we could possibly need, even down to marshmallows to toast. The tent decor was pretty magical, with fairy lights, plenty of cushions and a very comfy bed. The facilities were well maintained and spotlessly clean; it is a real labour of love. The breakfast hamper was of high quality and the kitchen well equipped.

The alpacas were a bonus, and the views across to Snowdonia simply breathtaking. Can't fault the place, keep up the good work Tracy and Wayne.

Very welcoming owners. The decor in the tent was very homely and thoughful - with marshmallows for the log burner, hot water bottles on the bed and bath robes to wear. So many nice little touches here that will definitely get us back again. The alpacas are gorgeous and the chickens very entertaining - lovely helping ourselves to their eggs they'd so kindly laid in the morning (to accompany the breakfast hamper provided). The location is perfect, with epic views. Would suggest easting at The Bistro in Betws-y-Coed - delicious.

My partner and I loved every minute of our stay at Tracy and Wayne's campsite and B&B.
We hired a bell tent which had everything we needed inside, including some gorgeous chocolate and flowers Tracy and I agreed she'd organise for my partner's birthday (at additional but very reasonable price, of course).
We felt genuinely welcomed by Tracy and Wayne and loved our morning search for eggs in the chicken coop.
The place is 7 minutes walk from the welcoming local and pub which serves a wide range of gorgeous food, including vegetarian menu. It also allows easy access to Zip World activities (max 30 min drive) and other beautiful places around North Wales.
    A must go!
