What customers say
This peaceful, riverside campsite boasts beautiful views and well-maintained, exceptionally clean facilities, including free tea and coffee. Pitch locations are plentiful and flat, with direct river access for activities. Hosts are consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, making guests feel welcome. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some guests noted an unexpected charge for showers and a lack of water taps in further fields. Road noise was occasionally mentioned but generally not a significant issue.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Stunning well maintained campsite, with basic facilities. Pretty flat and on the river bank, with direct acccess into the river for kayaks etc. No probs having bbqs, fire pit etc, and could park car on your pitch.
Free tea, coffee, milk, fridge, freezer and power sockets in the small utility area
Disliked Site is larger than described, and although there was still lots of room, while we were there there was a group of approx 25-30 teenagers, all well behaved, but it did put pressure on the 2 toilets that are available, especially when in addition to the approx 10 campervans and numerous tents that were also pitched.
£2 charge for a shower which wasn’t mentioned anywhere on site description.
We chose to camp in the far camping field so as to be away from the large group, which meant a bit of a walk to the toilets etc (not a problem) but could of done with a water tap and bins in this field.
