What customers say
This peaceful campsite boasts stunning natural beauty and spectacular views. Visitors praise the spacious pitches, clean facilities, and the well-equipped communal barn, ideal for cooking and relaxing. The site's focus on nature, abundant wildlife, and quiet atmosphere are highlights. While generally excellent, a few guests noted occasional waits for the two showers during busy periods. The location is highly regarded for hiking and exploring the Brecon Beacons.

Top campsite
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Been there a few times now, it is the best campsite that me and my partner have been to, and we've been a few.
It amazes us how tranquil and scenic it is and how Ian and his wife maintain it by themselves.
The only noise is from wildlife and the very odd vehicle in the distance.
You can wild camp or use the excellent facilities on site, which were as good as our first visit over 4 years ago.
There is everything you need and more.
Can't wait to see how the site progresses next year.
Disliked Only gripe is that some people still don't clean up after themselves, why not?
Ian and his wife do an excellent job and do not need to clean up after others.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Lovely setting with amazing views of Pen y Fan, wild flowers in all the fields, pitches are nicely spaced out. All facilities were great, including the honesty shop. Good walks straight from the campsite. This was our second time at this campsite and I’m sure we’ll be back.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked The toilets and showers are clean and well-maintained, and the host is very friendly.
As a camper, I loved the soft soil, which made it really easy to push my tent pegs deep into the ground. I set up my tent facing the mountains and the view was excellent. Everyone was very respectful, keeping a nice distance between tents.
The common barn area is a great touch, with stoves, kitchenware, and a fridge ready to use. Also, the check-out time isn’t too early, so there’s no need to rush to pack up in the morning.
Disliked The only downside is that during peak hours, you may have to wait a bit for the showers and the dishwashing sinks.
