Liked: A campsite just how we like it. Back to nature, a stream running alongside through a green dingle. Dragonflies, squirrels, grey wagtails and buzzards spotted. An excellent pub a good mile's walk; beautiful scenery. We walked one day, and visited Hay on Wye the next. Lovely hosts too.
Disliked: Nothing, the grass was cut short too, which in our experience is rare!

Liked: What a beautiful site! It's lush and so peaceful; surrounded by trees, the babbling brook to one side and lovely flat grassed areas adjoining. It's sheltered too. Local attractions are very close. Martin, the owner, is very welcoming. The site is ideal for campervans and wild campers, with pottable water and chemical waste facilities.
Disliked: None. Its basic, but beautiful.

Liked: This is our second time staying at Pentwyn Dingle in the Lodge Field and it was just as lovely! Peaceful, quiet, beautiful views and very friendly owner. Love it here and would recommend. Back to basics with no facilities, just a chemical waste disposal and drinking water taps. Great walks from the site.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike!

Liked: What a beautiful site and located in a very lovely area. So peaceful as I was there on my own. Loads of local footpaths (although some are overgrown and you may need to check your map) and a nice walk into Hay (4 miles, or a short drive if you're not a walker). Hay Castle's recent incarnation is very much worth a visit while you're there. The site facilities are ultra basic, just taps and CDP, absolutely fine for those in vans but I'd suggest to the owner that adding basic toilet facilities next year would attract more tent campers. Not a lot of 4G but enough to check for messages etc. Overall a lovely place to stay for a few days. Thank you.
