This is a beautifully maintained, peaceful site with stunning views of the Black Mountains. Visitors consistently praise the immaculately clean facilities, particularly the toilets and showers, and the friendly, helpful owner, James. Liked Lovely location with spectacular views of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. James is a very welcoming and helpful host, and gave us a personal tour of the facilities. Loos and showers were spotless. We followed the walking route James showed us across the fields and along the river to Hay on Wye, and loved every step, especially the friendly sheep in the field next door. The riverside is stunning, and there’s a cafe and a pub as soon as you arrive in town. Hay is a very pretty place with lots of eating places, food, art and craft shops, as well as books. Well worth a visit, even out of festival season.
Disliked Nothing.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked This is obviously a well loved site by the owners. James was extremely helpful on our arrival and throughout our stay. All areas were superbly clean. Showers and toilets pristine.
Nice stroll over fields into Hay on Wye. Looking forward to visiting in future. Level pitches which is a huge bonus for our 8m van.
The dogs were welcomed and loved it too. Nice large dog walk, but didn't feel comfortable leaving them off lead as the field wasn't secure.
James even had a hose reel available for filling the motorhome and blocks for BBQs plus a regularly emptied recycling area.
Clean sluice and a drive-over grey water disposal. WiFi is available albeit slow, but that's fine, saved me using phone data. Good reception with the TV too.
Fantastic!
Disliked Nothing to dislike. Tried to think of something, but nope nothing is coming to mind.
Slight road noise but this didn't bother us in the slightest. The site is easily accessible via this roadway.
