What customers say
This well-maintained, clean, and peaceful campsite boasts a beautiful riverside location and friendly, helpful staff. Reviewers praised the flat pitches, spacious feel, and the secure dog area. While the on-site pub and playground were popular, the distance to toilet and shower facilities, and the limited number of these, were frequently noted as drawbacks, particularly for families with young children.

Fantastic site
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Everything- location is beautiful. Really clean site. Reception man was very helpful. Great area for the dogs to run around off lead. Toilets/shower clean.
Disliked The fact that we only stayed for 1 night, will definitely be returning.

Liked Lovely site, toilet block very clean, owners friendly, and within a beautiful setting. Pub on site that had live music, again very very friendly staff and the other campers as friendly. We think it is well worth the money, if anything too cheap!

Liked Welcoming relaxed site lovely setting. Facilities were clean, hot electric shower. Need a torch at night
Disliked It wasn’t an issue on my visit the site was quiet but there is only one ladies shower which could be problematic at busy times.

Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Great welcome and spacious grass pitch.
Disliked Originally booked a hard standing, but changed to grass as the hard sranding were situated across from a row of bins and felt like a car park. Toilet facilities poor and 5 min walk from touring pitches.

A good site for peace and quiet

Liked Simple site with nice open field. Clean tidy and pitches were spaced. Nice little store for essentials and a helpful warden
Disliked Shower and toilets are a long way from main field. Not alot in terms of walks other than a 3km loop on small roads

Liked Andy (site owner) met us on arrival and made us feel incredibly welcome and helped my husband manoeuvre the tourer into a perfect spot to overlook the greenery. Andy and his wife left us to set up and we went and paid, they were very friendly and helpful.
The site is beautifully maintained, clean and peaceful.
There is a small play area for children, our 9 and 4 year old girls enjoyed it, there is a dog field which our little dog Otis loved running around in and a little shop on site. The showers and toilets were modern and clean, there is use of a washing machine, dryer, pot washing facilities and a borrow library.
Other visitors on site that own caravans and visited were lovely to chat too and shops to buy essentials are just 15 minutes away in the car.
It was a very relaxing, peaceful break, just what we needed and couldn't fault the price.
Disliked The toilets were about 5 minutes walk away but not a problem for us having a tourer. Andy did say they are hoping to build some closer to the area we stayed in but honestly I couldn't fault anything.

A nice little site, would stay again if in the area

Liked The site wardens are very accommodating, we changed our pitch on arrival, due to more family joining us. Due to the wet weather we got stuck and the warden just came along with his tractor and pulled us to the hard standing, very friendly. Site is geared for families
Disliked The toilets are a far way from the camping side of the site, but not a problem for us
