What customers say
Guests praise the beautiful location, friendly staff, and spacious, clean pitches. Many highlight the lovely river, children's play area, and dog-friendly facilities. A recurring point is the significant distance to the toilet and shower block from the camping field, with some suggesting on-site portaloos. Despite this, most would return.

Liked Large level grassy field.
Friendly warden.
Access to river for paddling.
Disliked Only two cubicles, one sink and one shower in each of gents and ladies was insufficient for the number of campers.
Being told we could pitch where we wanted seemed an advantage, until we returned to find lots of others had pitched very close to us.
Very busy, with lots of children playing happily, but noisily.
Distance to the toilets was a bit of an issue.
No information as to where drinking water taps etc were.

Perfect peaceful place to stay
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked ✅ Absolutely fantastic and peaceful place for camping. The site is very clean, and the wardens were extremely friendly and helpful. The Afon River behind the pitches is lovely for swimming, both for adults and children. There is plenty of space to play, and there are children's playgrounds on site. I would definitely recommend staying here as it is very peaceful.
The only downside is that the toilets are quite far away, about a 10-minute walk, and there is only one shower, so sometimes you have to wait to use the shower or bathroom. Also, an odour treatment is used in the drinking water, which changes the taste of the water.
