What customers say
This is a well-maintained, peaceful site with friendly and helpful staff. Guests appreciate the spacious pitches, clean facilities, and lovely riverside location, with a playground and dog area also popular. The main recurring point is the distance to the toilet and shower block from the camping field, though many found it manageable. The on-site pub receives positive mentions.

All in all a lovely site, would benefit from upgrades for tent campers
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Great atmosphere and lovely bar run by Caz and Alby. Really social atmosphere and good value food by Zac.
The camping grounds are large, flat and not boggy despite the rain.
Nice setting with the river running through.
Disliked Toilet block is a little trek from camping pitches and only 1 shower and two toilets. Definitely geared more towards the statics on site who have their own facilities…
No shop on site, but Welshpool is only about 6 miles away for and restocking needed.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Large level grassy field.
Friendly warden.
Access to river for paddling.
Disliked Only two cubicles, one sink and one shower in each of gents and ladies was insufficient for the number of campers.
Being told we could pitch where we wanted seemed an advantage, until we returned to find lots of others had pitched very close to us.
Very busy, with lots of children playing happily, but noisily.
Distance to the toilets was a bit of an issue.
No information as to where drinking water taps etc were.
