This peaceful oasis feels a million miles from the bustle of the modern world and provides the perfect tonic from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Relax and unwind in this gorgeous natural setting with just the birds and the bees for company. Sitting on the valley slope, both lodges perfectly soak up the sun as it sweeps through the valley and enjoy simply stunning views of the tranquil surrounding Welsh countryside. Take time out to travel, explore and discover our special Mid Wales coast and countryside. Look out for dolphins off Cardigan Bay coast, cycle down country lanes, or stroll through Mid Wales’ market towns and discover independent shops and places to eat and drink. Visit Snowdonia or the Brecon Beacons National Parks, the UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere, explore castles, country houses, gardens, wildlife and nature reserves, walking trails, lakes, mountains and beaches – or simply sit back, relax and soak up the views. All pristine lodges and Cabins are designed with no detail spared including top quality The large windows are a portal into a world of natural wonder and are perfect for enjoying this enchanting location. Beautiful Location Encompassing a rugged landscape of valleys and mountains, perfect for either a peaceful, rural getaway or an action-packed activity break. Amazing Wildlife Endangered Red Kites are seen flying daily overhead from their nesting sites in the woods behind, while at night hear the hypnotic hoot of owls hunting in the darkness. The Kingfishers and Herons on Bechan Brook can make a site to see. The location is a wonder for birds and wildlife. We pride ourselves on our warm welcome and strive to provide everything necessary to make your stay memorable. On arrival you will find a welcome pack of essentials (including some fizz). In addition, quality environmentally friendly toiletries will be waiting in the bathrooms. Our aim is to provide your best ever break. Hopefully, you’ll be booking to return before you have even left! If pure relaxation is your goal, peace and tranquility are provided by all 3 properties. For example, visitors often comment that the only noise is the sound of birds and the brook. However, if a little more activity is on the menu, then we are perfectly placed to explore the stunning Welsh countryside. For instance, the coast, the mountains, the races, castles, stately homes, nature reserves, market towns and much more all less than an hour away.

Local attractions

Keen to be out exploring the Powys countryside on foot? A scenic circular walk begins at Llyn Mawr Nature Reserve (25 minutes’ drive), taking you past a trio of lakes to standing stones and marshy wetlands where buzzards and kestrels circle overhead. You might also like to hike the Kerry Ridgeway (half an hour), following an ancient drovers’ route with spectacular moorland views from Wales into England. On family days out? Let the kids have fun feeding eagles at the Falconry Experience Wales (20 minutes, book ahead), or arrange kayaking lessons and zipwire sessions for them at The Red Ridge Centre (half an hour). And at those times when you’re all feeling less energetic, clamber aboard the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway at Llanfair for rides aboard an historic steam locomotive across viaducts and through valleys to Welshpool (both 20 minutes). From there, it’s a 25-minute stroll to the stately mansion and formal gardens at National Trust-owned Powis Castle and Garden, where you can also mooch around the South Asian memorabilia in the Clive Museum.
