Liked: What a beautiful and exceptionally presented campsite. Roy and Caroline were so welcoming and we had a fantastic pitch right next to the river for the weekend. The grounds were meticulously kept, showers and toilets clean and modern and we honestly can’t find fault with this campsite. I do recommended downloading a few videos/movies though as there is no phone signal in this area (well with 02 anyway) but that’s not a reflection on the campsite in any way. Thanks for a wonderful weekend away, thoroughly recommended. Thanks Rob and Marika

Liked: The toilets and shower block was very clean.
Disliked: We found someone on site to be passive aggressive and made us feel very unwelcomed. So after just one night we moved to a site near Betws-y-Coed which was outstanding. Also the Wi-Fi was very slow.

From the manager: It is unfortunate very sad that you felt this way as the site normally has high praise for how welcoming we are with our customers. It is such a shame you left early. We knew you were not happy that we had asked you to turn your unit around from facing the river. This was asked of you so you were not walking out onto the fire break of another customers riverside pitch. But we had no choice as your campervan is a continental unit, the reason having been explained to you by one of our team. It is a shame that you interpreted the delivery of this instruction as being carried out in an unwelcoming manner. It is a rule we just can not break under any circumstances due to fire safety as well as privacy reasons for you and the customer next to you so we could not budge on this rule. Although you did say you were not happy at the time, we did offer you another pitch that would have meant you could face the river but you decided to stay where you were. So it was totally unexpected that you never came back the following evening. I repeat, its just a total shame you left early, as most of our customers say its one of the cleanest friendliest campsites they have ever been to and we enjoy making customers happy.
Nice little site, close to great waterfalls and walking.

Liked: The couple running the park(sorry guys I forgot your names), were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the local area. The site is well kept and was nice and quiet when we visited for a night. There is a small toilet block which was new and very clean. For the dogs there is a short walk in the site, along the river bank, a secure field for them to run free and a longer circular riverside walk available. A ten minute walk through the fields and you are safely in the village. Sadly, one of the pubs in the village has closed, but the remaining pub sells a fair range of food if you fancy a meal out. There is a well stocked shop/post office in the next village to assist your stay as there is no onsite shop. We travelled in a 7.5m MOHO and had no major dramas getting to and from site.
Disliked: Nothing, all good for our one night stay.

Liked: The park itself is flawless, absolutely immaculate. The surroundings are as scenic as you'll get anywhere in the UK. The facilities are clean and modern. We spent our stay camping down by the picture postcard river. Couldn't have asked for more. If all that weren't enough, the best part of the stay was how welcoming, friendly and accommodating the owners were, they even let us borrow their electric hook up extension, Caroline and Roy, thank you for your hospitality!
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: Peace and quiet Friendliness of owners. Very clean facilities, plenty of hot water free showers. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the owners. The nearest local shop and pub is 2 miles away, was a lovely walk in the sunshine. Beautiful scenery. Seeing the Northern Lights in a beautiful setting
Disliked: Wi-Fi and phone signal unfortunately quite poor. I’m on O2, nothing !

Liked: The views were beautiful and the kids loved being right by the stream with the lambs opposite. Having dogs, the off lead dog field was perfect to wear them out. Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities clean. Loved the option of being able to borrow games and magazines.
