The sea view, remoteness and proximity…

Disliked Difficult to find

Such a shame, as we would have returned, but not now.
Non-electric grass tent pitch (sea view)
Liked A lovely hidden campsite on the cliff top. Perfect if you don’t want all the usual campsite facilities and want to get away from it all.
Disliked Extremely disappointed that Pitch up double booked our 2 night stay. We were only informed of this via text message from the campsite owner, after putting up our tent, and while in the middle of an evening meal in the local town. Very disappointed that the owner did not feel the need to ring us, or apologise, or explain that we would be refunded. They seemed more annoyed at pitch up than finding a solution for us, with it being our only holiday of the year. They suggested we could stay one night but not the second night, and could camp on a local beach which was having a party (not ideal for two middle aged women getting away from teenage children for the weekend!). After explaining our situation, they made some attempts at options in the field, all of which were unsuitable due to uneven ground. Pitch up have been somewhat slow in issuing our refund also (yet to receive it at the time of writing this).

Peaceful site, back to basics
Non-electric grass touring pitch (sea view)
Liked Close to beaches
Field to ourselves
Lovely view from shower, toilet and bbq pit areas
Right on the coast path
Quiet and secluded
Disliked Shower freezing, no hot water
Cluttered/run down areas
Very long grass
Could do with some TLC in all areas

A wild-ish camp site, peaceful and with breathtaking views.
Non-electric grass touring pitch (sea view)
Liked An amazing location, ideal for walkers doing the Welsh Coastal Path and those who love a beach day at nearby Tresaith (where there is a beautiful waterfall, pub and beach shop, and public toilets, with shower and water bottle refill)
Great for campers who like the wild-ish side of things. Compost toilet and shower were clean and what a view !!!
Picnic area was a perfect place to eat whilst watching the sunset.
We only intended to stay one night but ending up booking another night as we loved it here so much.
Disliked No fresh water tap for drinking water (not an issue for us as we had stocked up)
