Campsite

  • Peaceful adults-only site on a two-acre field near Llangrannog
  • New Quay, Penbryn and Aberporth within 20 minutes' drive
  • Sea views from the pitches; easy access to Ceredigion Coast Path
Sea views, splendid sunsets and space for stargazing – just some of the treats that await for guests at Camp at Erwan, on a secluded hilltop overlooking the Ceredigion coastline. And you can also throw into the mix a serene child-free atmosphere, as here these particular pleasures are reserved for adults only… This is a fabulous spot indeed, with pitches in a two-acre field giving plenty of space to admire the sunrise over the Cambrian mountains in the morning as well as the sun dipping into Cardigan Bay come the evening. In between the two, you may like to take a walk on the Ceredigion Coast Path, which is accessed 15 minutes’ walk away, and head over to Llangrannog (about 45 minutes’ walk). There’s a gorgeous sandy beach there, along with several award-winning places to eat. Also within easy walking distance is a fully stocked farm shop where you can pick up all manner of local treats (perhaps something to go on your barbecue and a drink or two for sunset hour?) Beyond that, other days out might take you to places like Aberaeron, Cardigan or New Quay (a famously excellent place to see dolphins, either from a boat trip or while on shore). There are lots of gorgeous beaches to explore along this stretch of coast too (Penbryn and Aberporth among them). Facilities on site include a phone charging point, a washing-up area, compost toilets and hot showers (supplied with eco-friendly body wash). There’s also an EV charger on site that’s available to guests for an extra cost. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on site, and have access to an allocated exercise area where they can run about freely.

What customers say

This is a highly recommended campsite praised for its peace, stunning sea views, and eco-friendly, immaculately clean facilities, especially the showers. Owners Janey and Rich are consistently described as exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Pitches are spacious and well-separated, nestled in wildflower meadows. The large, enclosed dog exercise field is a notable highlight. While some mention the track to the site is narrow, and there's no direct coastal path access, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many eager to return.

Non-electric grass campervan pitch

Liked An absolutely beautiful gem of a site, with stunning sea views. With only a few well spaced piches and winding paths mowed into long grass which making the space feel more private. From the moment we arrived me felt welcomed and relaxed. The hosts are incredible. Soooo helpful, going above and beyond and so lovely to talk to. The most amazing showers we've ever used and so beautifully made 😍 all of the facilities are very well thought out. There's a huge dog walking field with a bench in the perfect spot for taking in the beautiful sea views and sunsets whilst our dog was having the best time exploring.
So many thoughtful extras like a selection of herbs and spices, charging points, dog poo bags just to name a few. We can't wait for your next visit.

Liked This was such a beautiful campsite. It has lovely wild grass between the pitches and paths, which makes it feel very magical. Gorgeous sunset and evening glow. Facilities were brilliant, lovely wooden shower rooms, a little kitchenette with chargers. Janey went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

Non-electric grass campervan pitch

Liked Beautifully peaceful campsite. We loved how the camping areas were set among wild flowers and waving grasses. Really friendly and helpful owners. The facilities are really clean and well designed - the showers are stunning! We watched the sun set over the sea both nights.

Disliked We walked down to Llangrannog beach which took about 45 minutes, which was fine, but I'd love it if it was a bit closer! We'll definitely be back though!
