What customers say
This well-maintained site offers a peaceful retreat with beautiful grounds, a lake with kayaks and boats, and friendly donkeys. Visitors enjoyed the amenities including a hot tub, games room, pizza oven, and new play equipment. Pods are clean and cosy, with some featuring en-suite bathrooms and BBQs. While many appreciate the limited internet signal, some find it challenging for communication. A few guests noted the hot tub cleanliness could be improved and suggested updating the shared kitchen.

Nyth Y Wennol camping pod
Liked Lovely site, well equipped pods and a very quiet and calm location. Limited internet signal which was good and bad in equal measure (less contact with work, but struggled to check in on my poorly husband).
We enjoyed having an ensuite pod (an improvement on our usual camping adventures) and despite being compact, we had all the space we needed for 2 adults and a child. Our host was incredibly helpful and friendly. Check in was easy.
Wished I'd had time to use the hot tub, but alas, with a 3yr old this was impossible. The view looked lovely from the hot tub area though.
Handy games room and laundry area and a nice playground area.
Disliked Wifi would be ideal so we can stay in touch with family/dog sitters etc when needed.

Nyth Y Wennol camping pod
Liked Amazing glamping experience. peacefully surrounded by a lake, farm lands and calmness. Did Lake activities like kayaking and boat rides and all stuff were available. Pod was brilliant, clean, included all essentials and even had complimentary goodies box. Friendly donkeys were always around and only thing you can hear day and night were the sheep only. The owner was super friendly and he was very down to earth gentleman. All our family had an unforgettable experience. Can't recommend more.

Liked Big pod with bathroom was excellent. Great setting, facilities, location, check in and check out, donkeys, cleaning facilities, cleanliness etc
Disliked Nothing really. Please note the pizza oven must be really heated up with plenty of wood before attempting to cook.
Tried but failed to catch anything in the fishing lake

Everything you require.
Nyth Y Wennol camping pod
Liked Love the layout of the site and the new upgraded pods available on top of the basic ones. Returned after 10 years and as good as I remember. Friendly owner. Decent bbq with this pod for fast cooking. Fire wood available for the fire pit and marshmallow cooking. 3 year old daughter loved the little park. Bookable hot tube was excellent. Only a few miles drive from Newquay, decent base for exploring.
Disliked Nothing.

Nyth Y Wennol camping pod
Liked Stunning location, grounds are well kept. Friendly donkeys on the grounds were a big hit with my daughter.Pods were situated a good distance apart. Pod was perfect, clean, cosy & had everything you needed. The welcome goodies basket was awesome filled with locally sourced items. It all gave very chilled vibes.
Disliked No WiFi/3G/4G this being the reason I wouldn’t return, but that’s my preference nothing else.
Hot tub was not very clean by Saturday night, possibly might have something to do with other guests walking up to the hot tub area bare feet & getting into the hot tub with dirt on their feet & children jumping in & out of the hot tub like it was a swimming pool.

From the manager: I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Unfortunately there is no WIFI , but with EE a very good signal. Most families enjoy the fact that they have time off their devices - especially the children.
I am sorry about the hot tub, we check this daily, but unfortunate cannot police the area all day, but we have information everywhere to warn parents that children should be supervised and not use it as a swimming pool.
Thank you for coming and for your lovely comments and pictures.
