  • Small, simple Ceredigion site for coast and countryside days out
  • Cardigan five minutes' drive; 15 minutes to Mwnt or Poppit Sands
  • Dog-friendly site; barbecues and campfires permitted
Excellent views and an eco-friendly approach – it’s a double win for guests at Ceredigion’s Cilbronnau Farm, a couple of miles from Cardigan in the village of Llangoedmor. This place is all about taking it easy in gorgeous natural surroundings, with green views and wildlife to spot by day and dark skies full of stars by night. It’s a small and simple site so there’s little to distract you from the important business of winding down and appreciating your natural surroundings. It’s easy to get out and see some more of those surroundings too, as this site is handily placed for country and coast exploration – there are lots of lovely walks and hikes in the area, and it’s only a short drive to a whole host of fabulous beaches (Poppit Sands, Mwnt and Tresaith are all within a 15-minute drive). Cardigan (five minutes’ drive) has some great attractions too, and is a handy place to find shops, pubs and places to eat. Back on site, the facilities stretch to an outdoor washing-up area and a toilet/shower unit – keeping things simple to maintain a minimal impact on the local environment. Barbecues and campfires are permitted for your outdoor evenings, and dogs are welcome here too.

What customers say

This small farm campsite offers beautiful views and spacious, well-separated pitches. Visitors praised the brand new, exceptionally clean, and private shower and toilet cubicles, some even featuring hairdryers. The peaceful atmosphere, eco-friendly practices, and friendly, helpful owners were highlighted. While a few mentioned slightly sloping pitches and potential access challenges for larger motorhomes due to overhanging branches, the overall sentiment was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return. Its proximity to Cardigan and local beaches was also a draw.

Electric optional grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked Lovely friendly people and lovely location, stunning clean toilets and showers.

Disliked Although it is a field, Unfortunately the Ground was infested with spiders which became an issue inside the tent and we ended up leaving our break early only staying one night instead of 3.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi thank you for your review, as you are aware we are a eco farm campsite and cannot control nature and spiders would be present in all fields. We did come to speak to you prior to your departure and you stated there was no problem other than your tent had holes in it so you were leaving early so we are surprised with this review.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked Fantastic shower and toilet facilities- I liked that everything was all in one cubicle for privacy and ease.
The peacefulness of the campsite.
The spaced out pitches with meadow grass in between.
Designated pitch numbers so that you don’t have to worry when you go off-site in your van.
Close to Cardigan town (5 minute drive)
We booked a taxi with JJ Taxis who took us and our dogs to and from the campsite so that we could have a few drinks!

Disliked Nothing!

Electric optional grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked I loved this small farm campsite, beautiful views, large spaces to park the van, so we weren’t crammed in, loads of space between pitches divided with wild grass and flowers. We stayed for 2 nights and it was very chilled and relaxing. A lovely young couple who run the place came to talk to us to make sure we were settled in and if we needed anything. The showers and toilets were very clean and spacious with space to put your stuff when getting a shower, even provided a hair dryer. Really well designed and built too. It’s an eco friendly site too, which was lovely. Clearly marked recycling bins for rubbish. A path had been mowed through a beautiful wild flower field for a nice walk, and there was also a lovely walk into a local village. I would definitely stay here again! We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather too!
