Waking up to a sea view part of your wishlist? Then you’ll be in your element at Tynyfron Farm, a small and peaceful Ceredigion coastal site where every pitch has gorgeous views out over the waves of Cardigan Bay. This well-kept farm site is a place of real relaxation, with a soundtrack provided by the rhythm of the waves and the wildlife that often passes by. Aberystwyth (15 minutes’ drive) is the nearest urban centre, so you’ll be well away from town noise and light – making this a splendid stargazing spot on a clear night. And of course, as this is the west coast, you’ll be in prime position for spectacular sunset views as well. Campfires are permitted to help keep you warm while you soak up these natural experiences. By day you’ll be looking out over the sea – and if you’d like to see more of the coastal scenery it’s easy to get out onto the Wales Coast Path, which passes by the farm. Packing a picnic and heading off on a hike along the clifftops to hidden coves is one of the very best things you can do from this location. That said, there are plenty of other things to fill your days with nearby should you fancy something different, including outings to Aberystwyth, mountain biking at Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest and rides on the Vale of Rheidol Railway to the Devil’s Bridge Falls.
