Liked: The location was spectacular. Access to the shore, and sea views were a treat especially as the sunsets were stunning. When it opened, the swimming pool was a huge treat - unfortunately the boiler was broken until our departure day.

Liked: As soon as you turned into the Holiday Park it was so picturesque it's an amazing spot, definitely got the wow factor! Very well kept the whole site. We came late and was greeted by a friendly man who showed us to our pitch. We only stopped two nights and it was quiet there at the time, kids really enjoyed it, the park was great Very well done, the walk down to the beach was great, the shower and toilet blocks were great, the games room was great to just chill our and the kids enjoyed playing the games, might have been nice to have this room heated though. Will certainly consider returning!
Disliked: We booked with the hope to use the heated outdoor pool. Unfortunately it was broken and awaiting a part, I saw a post on Facebook about a month ago with that it had broken. Would have thought being the easter holidays it could have been fixed. I understand it was very quiet and I expect the pool is very costly to run, maybe just have it open for couple of hours then rather than 10.30-5pm. We've had this before places lieing about boilers being broken because of the cost to run. I think if we were staying longer it would have made a big negative for us but we still really enjoyed it and would return! If you're booking to use the heated outdoor pool like we were maybe ring and check it's working before booking.

From the manager: Thank you for leaving your review for your recent stay with us, So glad you enjoyed your stay and that we met all your expectations. Our outdoor heated pool has been a major part of our facilities for a good many years with he addition of the enclosure to lengthen the season significantly. We opened the pool on the 22nd March with no heater, due to finding the actual fault the only pool boiler engineer in this area has struggled, the water has risen in temperature with the cover and enclosure from 11' to 22', still uncomfortable but unfortunate. Definitely not a cost saving exercise as along with the camping pitches we have had to cancel due to the condition of the ground and the customers who have not booked due to the heater not working it has definitely not been a money saver. Hoping we get a replacement boiler installed this week, fingers crossed.

Liked: Everything! Great site with good facilities. Really helpful staff that helped us on and of the pitch as we don’t have a motor mover. The view over the sea is worth the visit alone!
Disliked: The swimming pool was not heated as pump broke.

From the manager: Thank you for leaving your review for us. We help you onto your pitch as it is much better to face the sea than reverse onto. Hoping our pool boiler is replaced very soon, ready for your return visit.
