Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch (members only)

Liked We arrived and reception appeared closed but our pitch was labeled which was great. We have a reactive rescue dog so ironically the less contact we have sometimes the better.

Lovely quietish site, there is a local bird scarer going off periodically in a local field but it didn't bother us at all but its something to be aware of.

There are no facilities on site as advertised, but the rubbish/chemical dump is clean and labelled.

We personally love these smaller sites and there is absolutely nothing wrong here and would have no issues with booking again, we loved our stay and would recommend it to others.

Expensive for what it is but lovely views.

Liked Beautiful view, nice dog walking field

Disliked Checked in with reception at services shop as advised. Didn’t seem to know anything about my booking. But was told to go through to field anyway. Noisy gun shots (bird scarer?) which might have disturbed anxious dogs? Mine were fine. Was expensive for the limited facilities.
And usually fine as a solo female traveller but felt quite exposed here (lots of noisy cars racing up the lane). Maybe as no sign of host?

Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch (members only)

Liked Had a wonderful couple of days at this imaculatley kept site. The dog walking field was a blessing for our dog to have a run & a play in the pond. The owner Richard went way above & beyond in helping us, while we went for a day out the wind got up & we hadn't pegged our awning very well, so Richard & his team found some pegs & made it secure for us! thank you so much. we will be coming back, especially for the views of the sea & mountains!

Disliked nothing

Local attractions

With Georgian-era houses in chocolate-box colours, the colourful coastal town of Aberaeron (10 minutes’ drive) makes a great first stop on a Ceredigion jaunt. Have an amble around the pretty harbour, take a picnic to eat overlooking the River Aeron, or order the freshest of seafood in cosy waterfront pubs. Aberystwyth (25 minutes) has a Victorian promenade to potter along, a ruined castle to explore and a cliff railway with spectacular views over Cardigan Bay. Head to New Quay (25 minutes) for a day out actually on the waters of Cardigan Bay (hopefully) spotting the famed pod of bottlenose dolphins. If you’d prefer to stay firmly on dry land, have a nose around National Trust-owned Llanerchaeron (10 minutes), a winning combination of a handsome Georgian villa designed by John Nash, walled vegetable gardens and dog-friendly paths winding through woodland. When all you’re looking to do is put your feet up on a beach, Cardigan Bay has some rather splendid options. There are two shingle stretches at Aberaeron and remote pockets of pebble at Gilfach yr Halen Beach (20 minutes) and Aberarth (10 minutes). If you’re after sand, choose Aberporth (40 minutes) or Penbryn (35 minutes).
