What customers say
This peaceful countryside site offers beautiful views and is highly praised for its friendly and accommodating owners. A major highlight is the opportunity to feed red kites, described as a magical experience. Reviewers appreciated the quiet atmosphere, clean and well-maintained facilities, and dog-friendly areas. While some noted that caravans and facilities can be a little dated, most found them to be well-equipped and functional. The site is noted as being isolated, requiring a car for exploration, and Wi-Fi can be unreliable.

Lovely stay and very peaceful
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Alex met us at the gate he was really friendly and very helpful, even got us some numbers for local pubs to have a meal in
Disliked The showers we had to keep pushing the water button to keep the water going, the water ending up soaking the floor

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Friendly and chilled out site, not too full so it was really peaceful. Excellent views, we loved watching the sheep and red kites.
Great little park for the children and lots of games and toys you can borrow on site too.
Excellent dog area, enclosed with tall fencing, which was amazing for our excitable Beagle!
Facilities were all tidy and clean and close as it's such a lovely small site.
Disliked Nothing! Yes the facilities were dated and the showers weren't the best but absolutely did the job!

Lovely, quiet location in the countryside
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Good flat pitch. Excellent wifi. Lovely peaceful location. Friendly check in. Nice informal atmosphere. Good clean toilets and showers. Plenty of hot water. Covered dish washing sinks.
Even didn't mind being woken by the cockerel :)
Disliked Not a dislike, but some very long term (and apparently unused) seasonal pitches give an unloved feel. Just a visual thing though.

Lovely campsite great facilities very clean…
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely campsite great facilities very clean and tidy. Amazing spot to view the red kites, we stayed here on the may bank holiday weekend, for a chill as its a few miles to the nearest pub! the owner was a lovely friendly guy, who let us feed the red kites at 4pm on the Saturday, we've never seen so many of these beautiful birds swooping down right in front of us for the feast of meat we were throwing, the owner was very knowledgeable about the birds and the area in general, there's also sheep and deer around, and a kids play area and a hut with games , books and dvds you can borrow. Highly recommended if you love birds and wildlife, we have amazing photographs from this stay and we will definitely return in the future

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Small quiet friendly camp site owned by amazing people we loved it that much we decided to pitch our caravan there for a few months. The kids loved the park and it felt so safe, lovely fenced area for the doggy’s just for them. Toilets and shower blocks were very clean and looked after, shed with little activities inside for the kiddies that you can take away and bring back. Safe to say we’ve found our future camping site
