What customers say
This is a quiet, peaceful campsite with beautiful countryside views, renowned for its spectacular red kite feeding experiences. Visitors consistently praise the friendly and welcoming owners. Facilities are generally clean and well-maintained, although some reviews mention them being dated. The site offers a children's play area and a secure dog field. While some guests note limited on-site amenities and the need for a car to explore the surrounding area, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return. WiFi can be weak, and some pitches may be sloped.

Lovely, quiet location in the countryside
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Good flat pitch. Excellent wifi. Lovely peaceful location. Friendly check in. Nice informal atmosphere. Good clean toilets and showers. Plenty of hot water. Covered dish washing sinks.
Even didn't mind being woken by the cockerel :)
Disliked Not a dislike, but some very long term (and apparently unused) seasonal pitches give an unloved feel. Just a visual thing though.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely campsite great facilities very clean and tidy. Amazing spot to view the red kites, we stayed here on the may bank holiday weekend, for a chill as its a few miles to the nearest pub! the owner was a lovely friendly guy, who let us feed the red kites at 4pm on the Saturday, we've never seen so many of these beautiful birds swooping down right in front of us for the feast of meat we were throwing, the owner was very knowledgeable about the birds and the area in general, there's also sheep and deer around, and a kids play area and a hut with games , books and dvds you can borrow. Highly recommended if you love birds and wildlife, we have amazing photographs from this stay and we will definitely return in the future

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Small quiet friendly camp site owned by amazing people we loved it that much we decided to pitch our caravan there for a few months. The kids loved the park and it felt so safe, lovely fenced area for the doggy’s just for them. Toilets and shower blocks were very clean and looked after, shed with little activities inside for the kiddies that you can take away and bring back. Safe to say we’ve found our future camping site
