What customers say
This campsite offers beautiful countryside and sea views, with well-maintained and clean shower and toilet blocks. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful owners, the excellent communal kitchen facilities, and the on-site playground. The farm animals, including goats and chickens, are a popular feature, as is the pizza oven. Some minor criticisms include compact shower cubicles and pitches being slightly sloped, with one mention of muddy fields.

Non-electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked Lovely site, good amenities shower and toilets were super clean ,quiet peaceful location with a river at bottom of the valley for a cold swim. Views were amazing. Owners are a lovely young friendly couple and nothing was too much trouble. They have really put their heart and soul into this site and it shows.
The three baby goats were adorable, our jack Russell even became friends with them. Will be back Thankyou

Fenced non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked What a Gem! We booked here (fenced, non electric pitch) for 2 nights as a taster into camping as was our first time. And what a great time we had. The site is absolutely fantastic, facilities are exceptional- clean toilet & shower blocks, with warm showers! The addition of a kitchen with a fridge to store your cool items, a microwave, kettle and toaster with an array of crockery and utensils really handy should you have forgotten anything. Excellent play area for children and the animals to feed and pet was all a lovely bonus. We happened to catch their Pizza night too, where they offered everyone fresh wood fired pizzas, which were absolutely delicious. Kids are already asking to go back. Thank you so much Arth Valley, and to the owners who were so friendly and welcoming.

Liked Wow! The facilities, the owners, the atmosphere were great.
Everything was kept clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the owners were knowledgeable about the area.
We used the pizza oven, did the walk to the waterfall after staff recommended and had the opportunity to see the animals.

Non-electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked Small campsite with lovely little playground, shower and toilets blocks, outdoor kitchen, small seating area for campfire to roast your marshmallows, chicken coop. Beautiful views of the sea and the countryside and hills. There is an honesty box for goat/sheep food and chicken eggs - very cute! The team are super nice and extremely helpful.
Disliked Didn’t see the shower/toilet blocks cleaned at all whilst we were there, and they were muddy and full of grass. The shower is very compact and you spray the entire room if the shower door isn’t closed properly. Kitchen is very bijou and crammed so a bit difficult to use. The location can’t be helped but you have to drive to the town or shops as you are based at the top of a very long and very steep hill. You can’t get anything delivered either as internet is very limited - it needs wifi somehow if that’s even possible?
