Grandtully Campsite is between Pitlochry and Aberfeldy. The site is just a short walk from the picturesque River Tay and canoe slalom site at Grandtully rapids. The proximity to the A9 means it is well connected. Just a short walk from the campsite you can find the Inn on the Tay pub, Grandtully Hotel, Legends Coffee Shop and Strathtay Stores. The campsite is suitable for individual and group bookings from outdoor enthusiasts. We have space for tents, campervans and caravans. Facilities include electric hook ups, wifi, toilets and hot showers.

Route directions

Grandtully is 30 minutes from Perth by car. From Perth take the A9 north towards Inverness. After 22 miles turn off left at Ballinluig towards Aberfeldy. Grandtully is 5 miles from Ballinluig. Just after the Inn on the Tay on your right and the Grandttully Hotel on your left, turn up Lageonan Rd on your left hand side. (If you see the traffic lights on the main road you have gone past Lageonan Road. You can return to the site by turning left into the top end of Lageonan Road at the traffic lights) The campsite is on the left.

The site is just a short walk from the picturesque River Tay and canoe slalom site at Grandtully rapids. Just a short walk from the campsite you can find the Inn on the Tay pub, Grandtully Hotel, Legends Coffee Shop, Strathtay Stores and Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier. Aberfeldy is only 13 minutes away by local bus, and Pitlochry Train station is under 10 miles from the Campsite. Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery which is open throughout the year is nearby,and also Aberfeldy Watermill, a bookshop, café and gallery housed in a listed former watermill. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to outdoor adventures in this area. There are plenty local activity providers who can take you canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, abseiling, gorge walking, canyoning, or mountain biking. There are countless walking, running, and cycling routes nearby with the Tay Forest Park being so close by.
