Liked Beautiful quiet campsite next to a river with great fire pits. Felt wild but with some facilities. We liked going through the ford to get to the campsite. You can walk through or owners will pick you up - either way, a bit of an adventure!

From the manager: Many thanks for your review. As regards drinking water this is clearly stated in the booking information. Our water to both the campsite and our home is from a natural supply on the hill and is available for washing and boiling.

Liked Loved the river side pitch. A big pitch with our own campfire.
Facilities were very clean with regular cleaning. Loved the wee shop that catered for forgotten essentials or fire wood.
Crossing the river to access the camp site made it feel even more unique.

Liked We had the most wonderful stay at Dall Cottage - an absolute hidden gem with a stunning location and fabulous, very helpful owners.
We loved that there were only 4 pitches, which were all spaced out nicely so that everyone had their privacy.
The fire pit, with wood which is available to purchase on site was a big bonus.
Toilets and shower was kept very clean.
The drive through the river was fun and added that little bit of excitement to our trip.
The location, right beside the stunning river was the cherry on the cake.
We will definitely be back!

Liked Beautiful, peaceful location with easy access to the A9. Great pitches with lots of space in between.Excellent shower and toilet facilities. Crossing the river on foot brought an element of excitement but the hosts provided a lift across in their truck when I needed to take my gear across. It is a unique and memorable location.

Liked An excellent starting point to our camping holiday in the highlands of Scotland. Our rented Land Rover Defender was thrilled at the sight of the river crossing. Peaceful, convenient and accessible to the lovely Scottish hills around Pitlockry
Disliked A few midges got the better of us but that’s to be expected.
