What customers say
This campsite is praised for its friendly and helpful staff, excellent cleanliness of facilities, and lovely location convenient for outdoor activities. Guests appreciated the personal touches, good value, and peaceful atmosphere. However, some noted road noise, particularly from bikers, and limited or dated facilities, including a lack of disabled access. Wifi was available at an extra charge and described as good. Some pitches were reported as small, and the location is a drive from the nearest supermarket.

Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Can't think of anything.
Disliked I have waited until the end of my holiday as this was my first trip in a motorhome. This was the first place I stayed so I had nothing to compare it to. Now I do I can say that this place was comfortably the worst. Poorly maintained and cramped and not well signposted internally. Won't be returning.

Okish but I would rather stay somewhere else becauue of the noise
Green electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Location is convenient if you are looking for outdoor activities
Also the campsite was not too busy when I was there
Wifi was chargeable extra but was excellent for a campsite
Staff was readily available when needed
Disliked My main grudge is the fact the campsite is build along a very busy road, day and night, which seems to be especially popular for bikers so expect a very loud environment. I woke up several time at night because of the noise
Also they could probably benefit of having a second set of toilet/showers closer to the second half of the site
A small missed opportunity with their booking system: while the campsite was half empty we were all packed at one end when they could have spread us out
You might need an extension cable for the Electricity, some of the plugs were rather far from the pitches

Don't go there
Green electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Nothing
Disliked It was joyless, dismal and exceedingly noisy
from constant traffic on a very busy road. Impossible to walk anywhere and the cafe opposite was uninspiring.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (two person)
Liked Great facilities, straight forward check-in, lovely location. Ridiculously good value for money!
Disliked The picnic benches were both down the middle of two pitches which was okay, but both tables were being used by the time we got back with food so could be a good idea to have them more clearly assigned to each pitch but honestly not too much of an issue at all.
