What customers say
This site boasts a fantastic location, just a short walk from Fort Augustus and Loch Ness, offering spectacular scenery. Visitors frequently praise the friendly and helpful staff, the on-site restaurant's good food, and the clean, modern shower blocks. While many highlight the spacious pitches and convenient proximity to local attractions, some reviewers found the touring pitches unfinished and the toilet/shower facilities basic, particularly regarding the number and space. Despite some noting the site is a work in progress, many would recommend it as a great base for exploring the Highlands.

Would be a really lovely site if it had better toilets and showers
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Quiet site, friendly staff and only a short walk into Fort Augustus. Lovely area for walks around Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal. There wes a gym and restaurant on site but we didn't have time to use them.
Disliked The toilet and shower block was very poor, only 4 toilets and only 2 were working, only 3 showers and only 2 were working, it was quiet when we were there but there are 32 available pitches so not enough facilities also the toilets were not in a building just a shed with a veranda so not warm.

Liked Easy to find, large pitch size with plenty toilets and showers which were exceptionally clean. Good size park for kids to play. Nice bar/restaurant only a few minutes walk from pitch. very friendly staff.

Electric optional gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Good-sized motorhome pitch and friendly staff. The location is ideal for exploring the area around Loch Ness.
Disliked However, the site facilities are below standard for a park of this size. The toilets and shower blocks really need a full refurbishment — they felt more like temporary facilities. For such a large and well-located site, I would have expected better amenities. Not the best phone signal and the is no WiFi available

Not worth the price compared to other sites. Great shame.
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Quiet site.
Handy facilities.
Staff at the bar and restaurant lovely.
Disliked Different check in times on website (4pm) to actual check in time (2pm)
Facilities ok but felt they had been rushed like a last minute thought- random towels left hanging, low hot water pressure in shower.
Most expensive site we stayed on.
Just feels that site is aimed at holiday homes and statics and that touring has been a last minute thought thrown together to 'tide them over' till they all sell.
Shame as so much more could be done

Basic site, under development, with EHU and small facility block.
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Close to Fort Augustus (10 min walk) which was a lovely little town. Nice Chinese Takeaway/Restaurant.
Friendly welcome from site staff.
Disliked This site is still being developed although it doesn't state this on the website. We were disappointed with the very basic facilities and the fact that they are unisex. You walk straight into the shower cubicle or toilet from a wooden verandah. No heating or hairdryers and no lighting on the main site at night. The site is huge and covered in hardcore. They have planted a hedge between the pitches but these will take several years to mature. The restaurant was closed. For the price charged it wasn't worth the money and we would avoid going there again unless they offered pitches at a lower price during the site development stage.
