What customers say
This picturesque site set in castle grounds receives high praise for its spacious, well-maintained pitches, friendly staff and excellent facilities, including a popular on-site pub. Visitors highlight the beautiful scenery and numerous woodland walks, ideal for dogs. While generally clean, some mention dated toilet facilities. Occasional noise from entertainment or other campers was noted. Overall, it's a highly recommended destination for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch
Liked A great check in with a full run down of faciltites, guidance to pitch etc.
Location, peaceful as darkness fell upon the park. Kids feeling free to be able to play and run around was good.
Showers and toilets were clean, plenty of hot water available.
Disliked The use of powered vehicles. The vast number of kids that were seen to be riding powered electric scooters and bikes was vast. This included a couple of lads that appeared to be doing wheelies all around the roads.
At check in there were no instructions from the park relating to the use of or restrictions preventing the use of.
The question therefore is, in the event of incident, who would be liable?
It may also be an idea on opening the office to have a person check the toilets, or in particular the toiley rolls situation. All cubicles were devoid of toilet paper at 0900.
Pitches are at an angle, blocks needed to level the motorhome, nothing too major though.
