What customers say
Guests consistently praise the spotless, well-equipped pods and the excellent riverside location, perfect for quiet walks and family activities like pebble skimming and using the play park. While the area is still developing with minor issues like unlit access paths and a lack of bathroom mirrors, visitors found the pods cosy, private, and surprisingly spacious, with many eager to return.

Fully equipped spotless pods in a fantastic location
1 bedroom camping pod
Liked Both the pod & the location were excellent. The pod itself was spotless & had everything that you need for a holiday - and more. Even the bedding was great.
We enjoyed quiet riverside walks every morning & fires in the (provided) fire bowl every evening, taking in the lovely view, using the porch for shelter when it rained (we brought our own camping chairs).
The kids loved skimming at the pebble beach & going to the play park too.
We wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
Disliked I tried hard to think of something, but couldn’t!

Disliked No bathroom mirror for shaving, had to go buy one.
Access road/walkway not lit. Part of access road not surfaced, muddy.

Liked We had a wonderful stay. The pod was warm and comfortable; well equipped with necessities and very private. Location was really good with some picturesque spots around. Edinburgh is in a drivable distance. Loved our stay and would definitely think of coming back .

1 bedroom camping pod (no pets)
Liked I absolutely loved my weekend in the pod, stayed with my brother & 2 grandchildren. Pod is well laid out with everything that you need. We had a lovely walk down to the river. We threw a few stones in and came back by the play park. No internet, but that didn’t matter at all. Look forward to next time

A lovely break away in beautiful surroundings, in a great pod.
1 bedroom camping pod (no pets)
Liked The pod was beautifully decorated, well set out and it a great location. Something for all the family (liked there was cutlery and plates etc for babies/toddlers). Very quiet, lovely walks around the grounds and river, and great that the park is so close. The Tearoom serves breakfast and lunch, and had some delicious options. We didn't enter the house but the grounds are beautiful. The pod is very cosy, with everything you need.
Disliked The pod area is still under development but this doesn't take away the beauty of its location. Some little teething problems to sort out but would definitely come back especially as the area becomes more established.
