Great place for a stopover.
Non-electric hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Host very knowledgeable and friendly
Had a lovely walk on the beach and in sand dunes. Great cafe and delicious cakes.
Disliked Road noise, but we still had a good nights sleep. However, for the cost of the pitch I can’t really complain about anything.

An ideal aire stopover when traveling the NE250 route
Non-electric hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked An ideal aire stopover when traveling the NE250 route especially if visiting Fraserburgh and the numerous east coast villages.
Friendly owners with a wealth of local knowledge of good places to visit and eat. Great views across to the sea with access to the beach. Excellent value for money.
And although close to the road, the sound of traffic wasn't intrusive and didn't spoil our sleep.

Perfect convenient stopover for traveling the coast.
Non-electric hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Great stop over, just on the edge of Fraserburgh with access to the coast and shops nearby. Nothing fancy, safe parking with facilities to empty your black tank and rubbish. What more do you need?
The bonus was extremely helpful chatty owners with information on where to visit nearby and as we were in a small van we got to park up in their garden a little further from the road.

Non-electric hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Location great with access to separate garden area across the road right on the seafront. The pitch was level and also offered a pitch in owners garden if we preferred it. Option to empty waste if required.
Good location within short walking distance to Fraserburgh. As others have said some road noise but nothing bothersome at all. Host very welcoming and offered options and advice on places to visit.

Recommend easily to stay here overnight or a couple of days
Non-electric hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Great wee location and host Cecilia was really pleasant and engaging. If we are in the area we will go back there as fantastic local amenities on the doorstep.
Disliked Nothing that is within the grasp of man to change, the sea smell was extremely sulphurous (eggy) at times 🤷🏻♂️

From the manager: Thank you for this review and hope to see you here again at some point.
As a note it this summer we experienced a particularly unusual August storm (Floris) which drove new seaweed onto the shore, which then was followed by a heatwave causing the sea smell you mentioned. Normally the seaweed is dry and odourless by now or washes up in colder times so it doesn’t usually smell. You can’t control nature!
Good stop over
