What customers say
This campsite is praised for its spotless facilities, including clean, warm showers and toilets, often with underfloor heating. Guests highlight the friendly and helpful staff, spacious pitches, and beautiful surroundings with excellent walking opportunities. On-site amenities like the bar, restaurant, and shop are well-regarded. Some guests found certain pitches, particularly hard standings, to be less desirable, and WiFi connectivity was occasionally reported as weak. Issues with noise and the availability of some facilities during quieter periods were also noted, though management has addressed some concerns, such as the installation of grey water disposal.

Just ok. Amenable staff. Free WiFi on pitch
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The grass pitches and clean warm showers and toilets. Very peaceful.
Disliked Being put in a horrid concrete ouch between what appear ref to be staff caravans when the rest of the site was virtually empty. In fairness the lady on reception gave us a grass alternative. Whatever you do do not book a hard standing on this site. They’re horrible.
Nothing was open despite the pitch up platform indicating the contrary

Nice walks but overpriced for what you get.
Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch
Liked Fully serviced pitches. Good for dog walks.
Disliked Very few people at this time of year so why put everyone together and not spread us out. We were stuck next to a really noisy family the whole weekend. The electric kept tripping out if you put your kettle and heating on at the same time. No staff at weekends.
