Camping pod

Liked: Booked for one night, the location was great, for our trip to lacock abbey, camping pod was super cute. It's literally camping without the tent, lovely comfortable double bed and loved taking my own duvet and pillows, ample plug sockets (4) with usb ports. Kettle plates cups knifes and forks etc all in the little cupboard. Helpful book with local places to eat, rules for park etc. Owner was extremely helpful. Said hello to the cows in the morning. Amazing car boots near by. Toilet and shower were well maintained and clean, loved there was a fridge freezer but didn't use it. Aldi supermarket 2 mins up road. We have already spoke about returning for a weekend stay.

Disliked: I can't say I really disliked anything. Although the little step into the camping pod on the decking, I tripped a couple of times, even though I knew it was there. Only one toilet for all the camp, maybe a little sign for the step in decking & couple of portaloos would be a good addition.

Worthies Wagon shepherd's hut (four person)

Liked: Lovely converted wagon which the children loved. Nice quiet site with great views and a nice walk into Malmesbury. No entertainment facilities for the children but for a short stay they were happy to just run around and play outside.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Small, farm site in a lovely setting, approximately 20 minutes walk across the fields into Malmesbury. Very helpful owner who met us on arrival to show us to our pitch. Supermarket and garage very close by for all your needs. Overall it's a lovely site and very reasonably priced.

Disliked: Although it didn't have any effect on us personally as we have facilities in our motorhome, I would imagine the fact that there's only 1 loo and 1 shower could be a bit of a pain during busy periods.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked: Scenery Pretty town Clean facilities

Disliked: Only one toilet and one shower for whole campsite so had to wait to use. A couple of families dominated the campsite space and facilities.

From the manager: Hi I am so sorry your stay here at Whychurch Glamping wasn't as enjoyable as it should have been. It was quite exceptional that weekend, one with the weather being so cold and wet and campers with families asking for extra gazebos etc I appreciate your review and I have decreased the number of pitches. It is a shame you didn't raise this with me during your stay as I could have given you some other options or changed a few things for you. I don't have a reception here, I live on site and I am always about and at the end of the phone. We do have 2 toilets here but I appreciate having 1 shower there can be a little wait depending on the time of day. I would like to invite you back and hopefully give you a very different experience. Many thanks Caroline

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked: A very well kept welcoming site whatever the weather, grass and hedging all neat and tidy. The facilities block was fully equipped and included the use of items so annoyingly sometimes overlooked i.e. basic cutlery, mug etc.. The thought and kindness of the owners by adding use of electric kettle etc showed great thought was given to making any stay enjoyable. Site Information and that for the many local attractions clearly displayed. We have no hesitation on an early return or recommending the site to friends.
