Excellent place to stay 5 mins cycle from cheddar
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lots of staff members, all very friendly, helpful and great with the children. Showers and toilet block were cleaned very often. Showers were hot and great quality. Great facilities on site, site shop, coffee shop, place to get cooked breakfast, Bar area, some great food options in the evening. All very reasonably priced. Probably one of the best campsites I've stayed at. Jules and his team have a really lovely place and should be very proud. We'll definitely be back.

Great time had there
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The atmosphere was very friendly, lovely lush green grass with wild flowers , double decker bus for alcohol and small food trucks ,short walking distance to brewery which was great, short walk to cheddar village , great place to spend a few days
Disliked We were placed in a field that was a long walk to the toilets although we had a portaloo ,the toilets were a bit dirty but that was due to the amount of people there .

Liked Excellent facilities. Smooth check in. Stayed in Barn Field which was lovely and peaceful. Bar, food pop ups and entertainment
Disliked Busy bank holiday weekend but to be expected. Nothing else to dislike about site

Good for families, great location to walk into cheddar, chilled.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely staff, lots of toilets and hot showers. Live entertainment and food if you want it. Good size pitch. Great recycling policy. Not too many rules so quite chilled. Great location. Reasonably priced.
Disliked If going on a busy weekend (we went on the 2nd may bank holiday) can take a while to get a pitch if you get there for 2pm. The staff were doing their best but took an hour to get a pitch. Even with lots of showers be prepared to queue on busy times. All the showers and toilets are in the centre so can be a walk if you're on the edge of the site. An adults only field would be great. Just a note not a negative, no WiFi and bad signal in the area.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Absolutely cracking site. All staff are very friendly. The bus bar is a great addition and the live music was brilliant (the singer on the Friday night was absolutely amazing!). Great location. We walked into Cheddar a few times. Pitch size was great even though it was pretty much full for the BH weekend, and no issues with saving a pitch next to us for daughter’s arrival the next day. The food at the breakfast van was delicious. Would definitely recommend and we would return for sure! The showers were fab, great pressure, hot, and take as long as you like. Thank you Petruth Paddocks ❤️
Disliked A bit of a design fault having showers opposite toilets which meant the floor gets very dirty from wet feet. Kind of thought showers should have been in their own bit, but when toilets were cleaned they did a great job and were spotless (for a while)
