What customers say
This well-maintained campsite offers spectacular sea views and a peaceful atmosphere. Guests frequently praise the stunning scenery, clean facilities, and spacious pitches. While most enjoy the tranquil environment, some mention strict rules and an unwelcoming reception. Older shower blocks are noted as dated, with occasional issues regarding hot water. The shop's limited opening hours are also a recurring point.

Liked Views are spectacular. Clean site. Well kept
Disliked Showers in the older block were basically unusable.

From the manager: Thank you. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Our older block showers, it does take the hot water a while to run though, so needs to run a few seconds before use. The new block the showers are more spacious.

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff
Electric grass campervan pitch
Liked The location and cleanliness
Disliked The fact that the electricity on the pitch was turned off when we arrived so, after about half an hour of trying to figure out what was wrong, we went to another pitch and moved again in the morning. Staff was simply dismissive - there was no apology for the inconvenience, or anything like that. Very unfriendly and unhelpful. For that reason I would never go back to this site.

From the manager: Hi, Thanks for your comment, Your box had tripped. Sometimes happens when being unplugged by last user. Trip just needed resetting. For future reference, just flip the switch back up. We are on site if you had called,
Will not return
Electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Lovely views, clean pitches
Disliked Nothing to do, shop shelves nearly empty, no fresh produce on offer, shower block old and dated, showers not hot and have to keep one hand on the push button at all times or water stops after 3 seconds, nowhere private to undress before entering shower, have to take everything in the shower so gets wet.

From the manager: Hi Thank you for your review. We have 2 shower blocks one newer than the other, but both spotlessly keen. Our new block has a partitioned area for clothes while you are showering, our older block has hooks. Most people undress in the shower area before turning the water on. Shower temperatures are set by our heating engineer to run at a safe temperature for everyone. for some this is too hot, some too cold and some just right, In our new block there is a small temperature adjustment range for customers to use.
If you let us know when you were chatting to staff that the showers were not running long enouth, we could have got the shower time adjusted,. There are several showers for you to choose from .
Our shop is stock with a large selection but a small quantity of each as most people arrive with all they need. The shop is treated as a emergency top up but unfortunately for us, we cannot afford to hold lots of stock that will go out of date.
Please be reminded that we only allow dogs on the farm and camping park that are kept on a lead. You were advised of this before you visit but chose to ignore this. You are obviously not happy about being reminded of this.
Will definitely be visiting again

Happy fees days by the sea
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The location and views were amazing. No problems at all.
Disliked The field at the end of the site had much better views than the first field so would have preferred a pitch down there.

From the manager: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and our beautiful sunsets
Stunning view and tidy site, but that’s it.
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (sea view)
Liked The view was stunning where we pitched (sea view and cost a little more).
Disliked Facilities were very basic and old. Kept reasonably clean.
Hot water was not working in one shower block so drove to the other.
The children’s area was ancient and really not suitable for kids.
Tried to bring my 95 year old Nan up for a cup of tea and told strictly no visitors and I should have read the terms and conditions.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Fantastic position of campsite with sea view on three sides. Provision of dog walk downhill towards the sea. Generally campers were observant of the rules which makes this campsite very quiet.
