What customers say
This well-maintained campsite receives consistent praise for its friendly staff and exceptionally clean facilities, including showers and toilets. Guests appreciate the spacious, level pitches and convenient location. While most visitors have a positive experience, some note occasional issues with noise from pylons, limited amenities during low season, and pitches being close together. The on-site shop and entertainment options are popular, particularly with families.

Was ok
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Shop on site, live music on Wednesday evening, clean facilities, good shower, good play area
Disliked Games room was awful and unusable- it should really not be advertised as having one. 8 machines (most of them) were out of order or not turned on, very dirty room.
The camping site is situated underneath an electricity pylon so very noisy.
Unfortunately we were pitched exactly next to the toilets and large wheely bin, so very noisy as people were using the hand dryer and bin late at night. In hindsight I wish I had asked to move as there was plenty of room

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Facilities were wonderful and never crowded, despite it being the height of the summer. Loved the free onsite entertainment and the Curry food truck on Sunday was a Brucie Bonus 🙌 staff were really helpful and friendly.

Hard to beat.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked 2nd trip of the year having come in June. Additional toilet/shower block was open as it’s high season and there was a real buzz about the campsite.
Plenty of children for kids of all ages to mix with but quiet enough between 10pm and 8am. All facilities are spotlessly clean, I can’t emphasise that enough. The reception staff, in particular Daniel and I don’t know the females name are so polite and helpful and seem to really care.
Found the phone charger lockers £1 deposit) very helpful.
Don’t really want to try a different campsite now as it’ll be very hard to match this one.
Will return in 2027.
Disliked There is a games room - this is equipped with table tennis, table football, pool table, sweet machines and other arcade machines. Whilst I fully appreciate this is an added extra most of the machines do not work - it would be great if this could receive a bit more attention, can imagine it would be well used in poor weather.
WiFi a little hit and miss.

A nice little site near all the attractions, with stunning views.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The large pitch. The amount of showers on the site. Friendly and helpful staff. The use of a washing machine even though it was very old and £4 a time. Generally liked the site, easy to find and not too far away from attractions. A little entertainment in the evenings.
Disliked Lack of a warden coming round in the evening, to check quiet times and check bbqs.. one was raging and had been left completely alone on a neighbouring pitch. The shop closing so early. The Games room not being open for older children in the evenings.

Liked We loved staying at Higher Moor Farm.
Such a welcoming, friendly, well run campsite.
We had such a wonderful time, hope to come back again with our extended family.
Disliked Nothing to dislike, it was just right for our family.

Electric grass and gravel pitch
Liked Lovely campsite, everything you could need.
Bingo was fun, great pizza truck.
Kids loved the park and arcade.
Well placed for visiting Westbay/Chesilbeach.
Disliked Couldn’t find any recycling facilities? Only general rubbish. Smaller toilet block ran out of loo roll and could do with a quick check in on an evening.

Overall a good camp site.
Electric grass and gravel pitch
Liked Toilet/ shower facilities were modern, clean and good size, good proximity to Weymouth and Portland.
Disliked The owner was trying to cram to many in, towards the end of our stay and that made us feel like boxed in.

Electric grass and gravel pitch
Liked We loved how relaxed Daniel was with where our pitch was and how we got to choose. My husband got to ride in the golf buggy.
We loved how safe we felt letting our kids run to the park and around the site. The pizza oven and the bingo were really fun and the facilities were clean.
Disliked the showers were cold in the ladies smaller shower block.
