What customers say
This small, peaceful, adults-only site offers stunning countryside views and a tranquil atmosphere. Visitors consistently praise the friendly, attentive owner, the immaculate and well-maintained facilities, and the spacious pitches. The provision of a large, enclosed dog exercise field is a significant bonus for pet owners. While some mention the narrow, rural access lanes, the overall experience is highly rated, with many expressing a desire to return.

Attentive owner, adults only, amazing sunrise!
Clay Park electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Helpful and attentive owner, who made sure I knew exactly where to find things. Jane even lent me her torch as I'd set off without one! Facilities were clean and close-by, which was especially handy considering the horrible weather we had overnight.
Jane also recommended that I moved from the original pitch I'd booked, due to an alternative being firmer underfoot. Thank you for your kindness and what a beautiful view to wake up to!

A small site surrounded by fields…
Croft field fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked A small site surrounded by fields and lovely scenery. Visiting on a wet weekend in February there were only a couple of other vans so very quiet. Nice walks around the area direct from the site. The shower/toilet room was clean, warm and well equipped. A great site if you like small, peaceful sites surrounded by countryside but not too far from civilisation. Good reception with EE.
Disliked Not really a dislike but there was an awkward moment on the last morning when the owner came to see me and informed me I had exceeded the 10 units of electricity included in the price. I was sure this hadn't been mentioned (I try to avoid sites that do this) and on checking PitchUp there was no mention of rationing electric. It seems that the site has changed their charging policy for electric but PitchUp had not updated the info on the listing. The owner was fine and waived the excess charge.

Croft field fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked A little gem of a site with fantastic views. Just one shower for the whole site which could be a challenge during busy times, otherwise for those who like a pitch that has peace and quiet and spectacular scenery, then this is a must. A warm welcome from Jane, the site owner. A great field next to the site for exercising dogs.
Disliked This is not a dislike, the track leading to the site is narrow and bumpy.

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely comments we are really pleased you enjoyed our site. Our views are beautiful all year around and we are really pleased with the positive feedback about our dog field since we introduced it. Many customers have their own facilities in their vans so we don't usally find our single shower too much of an issue in the busy periods.
Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff and level pitches
