Moorhead Country Holidays is set in 10 acres of Devon landscapes with spectacular views over unspoilt North Devon. It’s based in Woolsery village, 10 minutes by car from the fishing town of Clovelly. Although it's part of a family-friendly complex, the site is for couples only, especially those who are looking for a peaceful, relaxing break surrounded by the countryside. The site often has excellent sunrises and sunsets, as well as spectacular starry nights. There’s a fishing lake for keen anglers, and a gym on site so you can keep up your fitness regime, plus an indoor pool – when you’ve expended enough energy, go and have a chill in the hot tub. An inviting bar-restaurant is open six evenings (not Sunday) a week in summer, and for times when it is closed, Woolsery has a grocery store, fish and chip shop and pub.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (no pets)

Liked Swimming pool, hot tub, quiet pitch, games room with lots of board games to be played as well

Disliked Having to pay for swimming( didn’t know until little one was ready and dressed)
All grass so getting out with the car is difficult when it’s been raining as it’s extremely muddy

Sorry you did not realise swimming was not included, it is very clearly written in our discriptions and the cost.
We also advertise as a grass pitches for tents, unfortunatly when it does rain grass becomes wet and muddy.
