South Devon cows, a herd of horses and a flock of pedigree Zwartble sheep – these are the ace animals that share the grounds of Trevoulter Farm Holidays, a north Cornwall site where stays are in well-equipped static caravans amid rural surrounds. There’s also an area beyond the animal fields that's packed with with native wildflowers, streams and plenty of local wildlife scuttling about if you’re up for exploring; the further you go, the more adventures are to be had as a pub, shop and a little cinema are within walking distance in the village of Poundstock and it’s a 40-minute stroll to the beach and South West Coast Path. Come back to your rental caravan after sandy seaside sessions at the popular resort of Bude (10 minutes’ drive). Each unit also has a spacious lounge, TV, modern kitchen and gas heating for evenings on the sofa, and beds are made up with top-notch bedlinen ready for you to move in. Outside, there’s a private garden area with a firepit and a deck containing outdoor seating for making the most of sunny Cornish evenings; log supplies and outdoor cooking facilities are also available on site for warming up with a blaze and a hot meal as the temperatures cool.

Elowen 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked A very nice friendly place to unwind and relax in, although it is a family working farm, still it’s very quiet peaceful and well looked after place. it takes 3 minutes to reach to the closest beach by car.

Disliked The road leading to it is not that good, could do with some improvement, also it’s not easy to find, without using the latest satnav.
No instructions of what to do, and where to dispose of the bin and the recycling items.

Melwyn 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked What an amazing place to stay,Lynn and her hubby was fantastic. We had trouble on another site we booked and had to look for alternative accommodation. This place came up and was not ment to have booked but Lynn was an absolute life saver and let us have her other caravan. If you like the quiet life then this is for you sooo peaceful and the caravan was fab too. Loved meeting the cows and Boo the dog and having a good old chin wag with the owners. You have made our stay an absolute pleasure I recommend 100% for anyone to stay here! If I could give more stars 🌟 I would! Thanks again will definitely be back! X

Elowen 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked Recently stayed in one of the two Static Caravans and it was spotless when we arrived. From the very very friendly and warm welcomes by the farming family, to the very spacious grounds and the very clean caravan. We would absolutely stay again and may do fairly soon! We were staying somewhere else but it was awful, we switched to this place and i just felt the weight leave my shoulders. Our children loved being shown around to the cow barn and giving them some fuss. They also enjoyed playing with neighbouring children in the other caravan. Extremely peaceful location and just the sound of the bustling of leaves and the gentle moo’ing of the cows. Our infant son and daughter slept quieter than logs themselves.
Thankyou so much! Also, super close to the beaches, towns and major supermarkets. The only thing i would say that would have us there even quicker again, is perhaps pop a swing/slide in the caravan paddock to keep the kids busy whilst we cook dinner…even if it’s a pile of logs to jump off. Also perhaps some hand-soap. Other than that, we were ec’static’ with our stay x

Elowen 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked We originally booked the three bed but were unable to use due to repairs so stayed in the two bed. Owner gave plenty of notice and option to withdraw. Very clean van, helpful owners, lovely surrounding. Welcome pack was much appreciated, coffee, tea, scones and milk etc. washing up liquid was available too which is always a plus. Unfortunately we needed to cut the visit short due to family health issue but would return. I have two older teen children so may be cramped for a longer stay but weekend was fine for us.

Disliked Nothing negative just a recommendation that a toilet roll and hand soap is provided. Luckily I had brought extra. I think that possibly the toilet roll had been forgotten and had I needed to ask would have been provided. Would also benefit from adding to drain rice and pasta in the kitchen.

Elowen 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked Our stay at Trevoulter Farm Holidays in north Cornwall was delightful, combining rustic charm with easy access to local attractions. The static caravan was cosy and well-equipped, featuring a comfortable lounge, a modern kitchen, and comfy beds.
Just minutes from the beaches of Bude and Widemouth Bay, the farm itself offers a peaceful retreat among fields of cows, horses, and sheep. Our host, Lynn, was exceptionally welcoming, greeting us with a Cornish cream tea and marshmallows for the fire pit in our private garden area. She's such a good soul.
Whether relaxing under the stars or exploring the nearby area, Trevoulter Farm provides a perfect balance of tranquility and adventure. Highly recommend.

Disliked It can get muddy, didn't bother us that much but wear appropriate footwear in the rainy season

Local attractions

You won’t be short of excellent beaches for coastal explores when staying at this site. Set off for Widemouth Bay or Bude to try a spot of surfing with the help of one of the local watersports schools (five and 10 minutes’ drive); the latter spot also has coasteering and horse riding to get stuck into. There’s much more to Cornwall than the seaside, though: take to the Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre (20 minutes) to see a selection of small creatures, mosey around the medieval Tintagel Castle fortification (25 minutes), or let the kids loose on the all-weather attractions at the Milky Way Adventure Park (half an hour). Quieter times are to be had at the family-friendly New Mills Farm Park (half an hour) or while wandering around the quay at Clovelly fishing village (35 minutes). An intriguing place to roam is The Gnome Reserve and Wildflower Garden (35 minutes), which has been featured in the Guinness Book of World Records – as well as plenty of TV shows – for having the biggest collection of garden gnomes on the planet.
